We absolutely loved our experience on the Colonia Roma Food Tour! Every stop offered something delicious — from tacos and flautas to tostadas and coffee — and each place had a unique story behind it that made the food even more memorable. Our guide Camila was outstanding. She shared fascinating insights about the neighborhood, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable — even accommodating special dietary needs with ease. The pace of the tour was just right, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. If you’re visiting Mexico City and want to explore Colonia Roma through its amazing food and local stories, this tour is a must! Highly recommend.

Must do for foodies!
This was such a fun way to get to know the culture in a new city, through the lens of food. Johanna was not only knowledgeable about the dishes, the ingredients and the chefs behind them but also about Mexican culture and the Roma Norte area acting as a true tour guide. While the tour was 4 hours, it flew by and felt like a perfect pace between all the food (and drinks) we were offered at each stop. Would HIGHLY recommend this experience during an afternoon in Mexico City!

Great tour! I tried so many different things that I would have never experienced. It was also educational. I learned about the unique architecture and Mexican culture that I would have missed had I not had the opportunity to take this tour. I highly recommend. Daniela was my guide and she was highly knowledgeable and made for a fun, unique experience.

Kiomi was it truly delightful guide who had extensive culinary knowledge as well as being born and raised in Mexico City - a most perfect person to do this type of work (if you happen to get her as your guide, ask her about Bruce Springsteen…) we visited some of the most amazing very local places with some fascinating history and delicious food, of course. While it was not an overload of information as you sometimes get on guided tours, this was a balanced blend of thorough , easy to retain and interesting highlights of the history of the locations we visited . There was even a nice amount of “audience participation” where she posed questions to us and really engaged with the group. The food tastings really connected visitors to the culture like no food tour I’ve ever been on (and I’ve been on a lot!!!) I will say that I am not the most adventurous eater so I did pass on two of the tastings, but the other six were delicious. I highly recommend this tour and if you can possibly request Kiomi, that would be an added extra

Incredible food tour! You learn so much about the culture of Mexico City and you go to places that you would NEVER know to visit! The food was incredible and you get almost a whole meal at every stop!!! Our guide, Kiomi, was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! I highly recommend this food tour!!

Monse did an incredible job balancing the fun of the tour with the education! We learned so much, not only about tacos and mezcal, but also about CDMX! Our group was incredible and by the end of the evening, it felt like we were having a night out with old friends. The tour does last about 3.5-4 hrs, but it feels quick! They also have a van to take you from stop to stop so you’re not walking the whole time. Word of advice - come very very hungry because they are not skimping on the tacos!!

A fantastic Taco & Mezcal tour with Monse. She was hugely knowledgeable and made our 4 hour tour great fun. It’s well worth the money for the amount of food & benefit of little wait time at some of the best taco spots in town. Would definitely recommend!
