We had a great day touring the city and learning about Prague. George was funny, informative, engaging, intelligent and eager to share his city. The tour included a cute little boat ride that has audio playing about the sites. Although this part of the tour was a little silly, this did provide the BEST way to get photos of the Charles Bridge. We also had a delicious traditional lunch and George guided us on the menu items. The tour does involve some walking, up stairs and to the castle and down again. Although we did take a tram up the hill. If you are walking to the location and then the tour it could be 5 miles or more. I highly recommend this tour especially when you first arrive. This will give you a taste of the city and that way you can have a better understanding of how to get around this very interesting city. We actually missed our reservation for the Prague Dinner Tour due to our train breaking down, but the company was easy to get a hold of and moving our reservation to the next night was easy! Our food tour guide was Saša Ivša. Saša was super charming and very genuine. We truly felt his joy for the local cuisine and for Prague in general. He took the time to get to know each of us (7 people total on our tour) and shared about his life and experiences with the traditional foods. Saša was an excellent host at each of the restaurants we went to. He made fantastic choices and gave us a delicious glimpse into the traditional and modern/fusion dishes of Prague. We went to 4 restaurants total: a tapas-type restaurant for appetizers, 2 restaurants serving entrees, and 1 restaurant for dessert. All were served family style and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) were included. I honestly can’t choose a favorite because everything was very good and we were all stuffed by the end of the night. Saša always made sure we were enjoying our time and especially the food. He was very knowledgeable about the dishes and provided details about them. We were very pleased with the value and the experience of this food tour!

Signed up for the beer tour 6/10/19 and Adam was our guide. It ended up being a very enjoyable and informative tour as it relates to the history of beer in the Czech Republic and various types of beers and breweries. We were able to visit many of the local pubs and experience all kinds of local beer as well as typical bar food you would find in the local pubs. Adam was outstanding! Would highly recommend the tour and if Adam is your guide you will be in good hands.

We did the Prague food tour with Saša Ivša. I could not recommend Saša and this food tour enough. Saša exceeded all expectations as a tour guide and person. He made the tour fun and interactive. The restaurants were amazing. Food was wonderful. Information he provided was a great learning experience. There were laughs and plenty of food and drinks. Everything went super smooth. It was money and time well spent. 100% satisfied. I highly recommend this experience!

We had the most amazing time and wonderful memories of Prague duly mostly to a brilliant beer tasting and tapas evening we booked through Prague urban adventure. We were a group of nine and our tour guide was Lucaz. He was such a lovely man, clearly proud of his city and knowledgeable about beer and drinking it despite not a drop passing his lips (he was on medication). He spoke perfect English and not only guided us around several beer houses and breweries around Prague and a bit off the beaten track too, he gave us a brief history of the city too. We drank beer and ate small plates of tapas in five different hostelries. He gave us a running history of beer and Prague and the whole experience as made better because of the group we were with. They were from Australia, America and England. Just the best trip ever. I thoroughly recommend this tour and most specifically I would recommend you try to get Lucaz as your guide. Roll on 2020 when we hope to return.

We booked the beer and tapas tour on the first night of our stay which turned out to be the best decision we made. Our tour guide was Adam who was absolutely brilliant !! Extremely knowledgeable about the city and the beer available, and took us to places we just never would have visited if you found your own way around. The food and the beer were varied and very tasty indeed. Following the tour Adam even sent us an email with other restaurants and bars to visit which we did the following day. His advice did NOT disappoint !! He even sent us a list of places we had visited, the food we ate and shared recipes of how to make some of the unique and local dishes. Not only would I recommend doing this tour but I would also suggest you do it on day one to make the most of your stay. If you're lucky enough to have Adam as your guide then you've done very well indeed.

I did the Prague Discovery Tour from 9-15:00 with Saša Ivša on a Friday and I would whole-heartedly recommend doing it with him! I was traveling solo and literally arrived in Praha at 6:30AM after a 10 hour bus ride (didn’t sleep), just dropped off my things and went straight to the meeting point, and normally tours are a drag but Saša made it fun, informative, and gave a great introduction to Praha. Even after a day and a half of not sleeping, I wasn’t bored on the tour. The boat ride was good and probably the only time where I wanted to fall asleep (an audio guide led this portion) but still a nice experience and definitely worth the price. He had really nice recommendations and genuinely seemed interested in what people’s plans were and gave resources of where is best to eat for what location you’re staying in. Tour was in English, Saša had excellent language skills, don’t even know how many languages he speaks (I think 3 or 4/ but for sure English and Czech!) Group size was perfect (~10-11 people), not too big where you get lost and can’t hear anything but not so small that you feel obligated to speak the whole time (this is down to preference but it was perfect for me). Pace was great. Not too fast and not too slow. It is a walking tour so you’ll be walking bring good shoes. Definitely recommend doing this in the beginning of your trip to get an overview of what to do in Praha. Lunch is included and we got to try a traditional Czech dish which was very filling and there’s ice cream/cake on the boat + beer or another non-alcoholic drink. You’ll leave full and with plenty of introductory knowledge to Praha. 10/10 would recommend this tour with Saša! He’s also very knowledgeable about music, theater, and opera 🎶 would definitely go to a concert with him. Overall wonderful experience.

We were recently very lucky to have a guided tour with the lovely Michaela on the Bohemian Tastes and Neighbourhoods tour. There were only the two of us so a VIP experience! Michaela was so friendly and showed us around parts of Prague we would not have experienced otherwise. We experienced some of the local food treats and visited local neighbourhoods. It was like visiting with a friend all her favourite places! She then gave us recommendations for what else to visit. We loved this Urban Adventures Style of touring and highly recommend them. We went on the Beer and Tapas Tour led by Eliska. It was terrific. We started with a light lager, and delicious interesting "beer food" that we had never had anywhere else. Then we had wheat beer (and other choices of beers) and sausages. For our third stop, which we arrived at by taking a bus/tram, we had some interesting craft beers and foods. Then after a nice stroll, we got to our last beer pub and tried some dark beer and amazing local foods. It was a fun evening, and we felt so fortunate to have gone on this tour, led by a terrific, energetic, friendly tour guide who clearly enjoys introducing wonderful local Prague pubs to others, and explaining the intricacies of beers and local foods. We had a terrific time, and enjoyed both the tour guide, and the other people on the tour with us. We like the way the tour was structured, the way we got to see the local places we would never have found on our own, and the way we got to really understand local culture in an intimate, real way. I would highly recommend Urban Adventure Food tours to others. It was way more fun than a "typical" group tour where you walk around forever and only half-understand what they are rambling on about. In contrast, with an Urban Adventure Food Tour, you get an intimate, interactive, authentic local experience, that is fun, and not tiring.

Lukas was very friendly and provided a lot of info about beer and Prague. He took us to really nice places. Really good beer and amazing food!!! We felt like we were all a group of friends hanging out. He was very generous and he made everyone feel like family. I would definitely recommend Lukas as the greatest tour guide. :)

Excellent trip; a definite must take when you're in Prague. Out tour guide, Michaela was superb and extremely knowledgeable highlighting the rich history contained within the country. The sites were amazing and the views were breathtaking. Food was delicious also. Highly recommended tour.

Thank you Pavla for the awesome tour! I had done the tour on my last day in Prague and when I told my Czech friends all the places we visited, they were shocked that Pavla took us to such local cafés and restaurants! I learned so much about the history of Prague's neighbourhoods, I was proud to show it off to my Czech friends and even teach them a few interesting facts. Pavla even sent us an email of restaurant, activity, book and movie recommendations! If you want to spend the day eating good food, learning a ton of history and with cool people, I highly recommend this tour!
