Easily my favorite day in Prague! We took the “Bohemian tastes and neighborhoods” tour and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Lucas was the best! Full of info and just a great guy to walk around with for a few hours. If there’s a “Friend for a day” option on Prague Urban Adventures definitely choose Lucáš! Great fun!

Saša Ivša our tour guide was fantastic!! The arrangements of tastings was delicious and well varied, plus it made for a great walking tour on the 4th of July. Saša was knowledgeable and spoke great English. The tour was well organized and the different stops were really good. Before we started off on the tour Saša provided a great interdiction and inquired about any certain food allergies. On this tour you learn a lot about Czech Republic, plus the local food and beer. The meeting location was easy to get to my streetcar and the area wasn’t filled with tourist. We were dining with the locals, this memorable food-cultural experience is definitely worth doing this tour. At the end of our tour we ended up in a nice beer garden over looing the great city of Prague. Places we visited on the tour: Nejen Bistro We tasted: • Chicken soup with asparagus, egg, chives, spinach pesto and spring onion Lokál Hamburk We tasted: • Smažený sýr (fried cheese) with potatoes and tartar sauce • Prague ham with creamy whipped horseradish • Talián sausage with horseradish and dijon mustard Eska We tasted: • Potatoes in ash, smoked fish, dried egg yolk, kefir • Roasted rabbit, beetroot, currant • Salmon trout, zucchini, cucumber, mustard seeds • Homemade fermented lemonades (Kombucha, Apricot, Sour cherry) Café Alchymista We tasted: • Lime Cheesecake • Poppy seed cake • Blueberry cake

If you're looking for excellent (and unique) food in a popular local neighborhood outside the center and away from the tourist hordes, the PUA food tour is a great choice. We visited five different places and tried everything from fermented lemonade (amazing - my favorite thing on the tour) to Czech soup (which I plan on trying to recreate in my own kitchen because it was so tasty) to Moravian wines and local beers. Ending the tour in a lovely park with a view over the city was also a nice touch and our guides were super nice and interesting. If you're choosing a tour to learn more about the history of Czech food, this one didn't have a ton of history/background woven in. For my partner and I (who chose it because we were looking for great foodie experiences and local recommendations), it was great, but I have friends who look for food tours with lots of history, so thought I'd mention that there wasn't as much of that. For us, absolutely worth it. I've got a long list of restaurants to try/go back to and since it was the first thing we did in Prague, we are excited to circle back to places and try the others our guides recommended.

First off, I recommend you to book this tour! We had Saša as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgable and was also curious to know more about our lives as well. The portion for the food was great! The variety of what was offered was amazing and Saša accommodated to our needs. The only thing that I would suggest is to add more time to the tour to enjoy the food and ambience more. We saw more of Prague, ate some delicious food and met some amazing interesting people on the way! Highly recommended!

My sister and I had a great time on this beer tour! It was my first time in Prague and we were looking for a more local experience. Tomáš more than provided that - he was a great guide who took the group to four of his favorite bars where we tried local beers and food. His knowledge of Czech history and culture, especially of Prague beer, was top notch. He made us feel like locals for the evening, even taking the time to teach us some Czech phrases. Out of all the activities my sister and I did in Prague, this was by far the best one. I would definitely go on another one of these tours!

Had an absolutely amazing time on our Urban Adventure tour. Our guide was Tomas and he was really awesome. Took us to some very cool pubs for some really good beer. He was very knowledgeable about Czech beer and Prague. Offered us suggestions on places to try. Definitely recommend you take this tour as your first activity in Prague. You'll get a feel for the city and where the cool places are. Highly recommended. Thanks Tomas!!

Took the Prague Discovery Tour with Sasha - what a great way to spend the day learning about Prague's history, and seeing the sights! He took us down side streets and really adjusted the tour to our interests. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely recommend!
