More than a taste…

This was an incredible tour, especially having a well informed and extremely knowledgeable guide. Jakubský ‘Kuba’ was absolutely amazing, providing our small group of three a bespoke experience with history of not only the food but also the city itself. He was engaging and not overbearing and catering to our wide range of topics that we wanted to discuss as we traversed the Prague streets. And the food selection- absolutely magnificent- a must for someone who wants more than a bite but rather a “healthy” taste while learning along the way!

With our recent, first visit, to Prague… (after an initial day of wandering) we were fortunate enough to have sourced Prague City Adventures for a day walking tour with our knowledgeable and amiable guide George. His local and historical knowledge was offered in a generous and patient manner, as we had many questions and a desire to dig deeper into many aspects of Pragues rich history. Being a local he had a deep understanding of what makes Prague tick, from a native perspective… it made our experience well rounded and very entertaining. It really was like a new friend guiding us through this wonderful city. The day flew by, we covered a lot of ground, but we were so happy and fulfilled with our unique journey with our friend George.

This has been the absolute highlight of our visit to Prague. Misa was so welcoming, great-spirited and knowledgeable, and full of inside perspective on Czech life. She gave us a delightful variety of experiences--sights and tastes--and somehow brought our little bunch of strangers together into quite a fun group.

Private Prague Foodie Tour: Taste Modern Czech Food

This is a wonderful tour that combines delicious food with a bit of city history while taking you outside of the regular tourist-mobbed areas. If you're new to Prague you will also get the opportunity to take public transportation with your guide, which functions as a nice intro to the tram system without any stress. Our host Míša was warm and knowledgeable and, as a mom, was also great with our two daughters! The food offering was diverse (a few apps, mains, and a delicious ice cream stop to wrap things up) and we also enjoyed a few world-class Czech beers. If you want a glimpse of how the Czechs eat outside of the traditional stuff then this is definitely a great tour to choose. Our entire family had a lovely evening with Míša and we'd gladly book it again on a subsequent visit!

Perfect taste of Czech food and culture

Part food tour, part history and culture tour. The restaurants and boat/brewery we visited were excellent. Nikki, our guide, had an in depth knowledge of both Czech food and the country’s history. 100% recommend.
