Musashi Koyama and Togoshi Ginza food tour
We had an amazing time exploring Musashi Koyama and Togoshi Ginza with Ranjan! The entire Michitabi team was so pleasant, prompt and polite - booking, planning, noting any food restrictions. We had our 1 year old baby with us and they made sure to adjust aspects of the tour - would she be in a carrier/stroller and during the tour stopping every time she needed to. Ranjan was a great tour guide. He'd explain aspects of the restaurant, the food and the culture -- which made the experience so much more interesting. He also patiently answered ALL our questions about life in Japan which we were very curious about :) Thanks Team Mitchitabi for a really interesting experience and sneak peak into the local food culture of this part of Tokyo. I hope we can come again and do another local tour with you :)

Amazing food and in depth tour. 100% recommend
I’m very lucky I found this tour, really amazing to see the local foods, and great to go to where the locals go. Ranjan was an excellent tour guide, good English and really goes in depth to explain the foods. We went to some amazing places, hidden gem restaurants that have been open for many years that you would never find on your own. Please book this tour, one of the highlights of my Tokyo trip.

Tokyo local suburbs
Walked around Japanese local suburbs with the tour guides to show us the best places for vintage shopping. Extremely friendly and a joy to hang around. Would highly recommend for tourists looking for a more local vibe around the busy city.

Subaru and Yuta were excellent!! Local knowledge and very professional. They paced our tour specifically to our needs and were very flexible and accommodating. Would highly recommend and will definitely use their service again when visiting Toyo in the future. Well done 🙌🙌🙌

Subaru was excellent local knowledge and planned our tour specifically to our needs. The time went so quickly and we were able enjoy local street foods like karange chicken, dumplings and hand crafted deserts just to name a few. They paced the tour well and we never felt rushed and to see sbd experience everything we wanted. Very well done! Would we recommend and will definitely use their service again when in Tokyo!

We had the most amazing time on our tour! Our guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun, they made the entire experience feel special from start to finish. They took us to such a cool neighborhood, and it truly felt like an adventure. Our daughter absolutely adored Kay, we already miss our guides! One of the things that made it even more special was the included photo link. The photos of our family turned out so beautifully and are something we’ll treasure. Thank you so much for creating such a meaningful core memory for us

Best Walking tour with Subaru and Yuta…
Subaru and Yuta were the best…My 14 year old son thoroughly enjoyed his time with them. They helped us find video games and even my son got a new camera! 📷🤷🏻♀️ He also played a car game with them. We were able to see things that we couldn’t have found on our own. We had a blast with them! I highly recommend them.…

Day tour exploring
Subaru and Yuka were exceptionally nice and friendly spoke good English . Our kids that were six and nine had a ball and were occupied with their great origami making on the way while waiting for trains . We highly recommend this tour , we explored places we would’ve missed such a fantastic day out thank you boys 👍😊 we hope to see you soon on our travels.

An amazing tour experience that will not disappoint!
Such an amazing experience! The entire day on this tour I experienced something I would have never found in my own. This is one of my highlights of 2.5 weeks in Japan. It was an amazing time we went off the beaten path and into very local and unique places that one must experience in Tokyo to experience the real Tokyo! I highly recommend this tour operator and staff!

Great walk with friends!
We had a great tour with Subaru & Sarah, felt very welcoming and more like hanging out with these lovely two people (as opposed to a full on tour so to speak). We got to discover like locals a neighborhood we wouldn’t have visited otherwise - and with that some honestly great foods!

They navigated the bustling streets like pros, sharing fun facts about Tokyo’s food scene, history, and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. From sizzling yakitori skewers and mouthwatering takoyaki every stop was a flavor explosion. Subaru’s insider tips on etiquette and Sarah’s warm recommendations made it feel personal and authentic.
