Amazing local food tour experience!!!
Subaru, Yuta, and Emily are super knowledgeable and showed my wife and I all the “true” local spots. Every food spot they took us was intentional and the flavors and authenticity of the food was top tier. They were also super friendly, warm and welcoming, and a fun group to be around. From takoyaki > chicken skewers > karage > desserts > gyoza > onigiri > hotpot, everything was fantastic. I highly recommend their travel group for local tours!! You won’t be disappointed and your stomach won’t be either. :)

Found the Michitabi Tour through Instagram and glad I did! My husband and I wanted to do something more local to Tokyo and what better way than through food. Visited 7 different food spots and left feeling so full having tried a different variety of foods and one dessert spot. Appreciated the smaller, local spots that felt very authentic. (The elderly sweets shop owner was very welcoming!! 🥹) Subaru, Yutah, Emily were our guides and they were so friendly and easygoing. Would do another tour with them! 😄

The best Tokyo experience.
Subaru and Tomoki are one of the best tour guides we ever had. They cater to all our requests and much more. They took us to all interesting places. They're really knowledgeable about places and history. They're super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them. The price for the whole day is was really good. They took us to not so crowded places. Love the tour.

Best of Tokyo
We had an wonderful one-day tour of the shrine and temple with our guides Subaru and Tokino. They were incredibly positive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and special. They took the time to explain the history and meaning behind everything we saw, and were always patient and happy to answer questions. Their energy and kindness made the day memorable, and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting — Subaru and Tokino thank you for an amazing experience!

Omamoris and strawberries with Tomoki and Subaru
From planning to the actual tour dates, they made sure i enjoyed every minute of it ♥️ specially thankful to Tomoki and Subaru for touring me around and indulging my love of omamori and strawberries! Having them as your guides will have you go to local sites tourists tend to oversee. Definitely recommend!

Great local tour of a Japanese neighborhood.
Yuta and Subaru were very friendly and gave a great explanation of the local Togoshi-Ginza area. My favourite moment was trying all the local food. I would recommend a local tour. I really liked the yakitori spot.

Hidden Gem Food Tour In Tokyo
This tour was honestly the highlight of my entire trip to Japan. From start to finish, the team was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and deeply knowledgeable about the local culture and spaces we explored. They took us to places I never would have found on my own — spots that felt authentic, personal, and truly special. What stood out most was how welcomed I felt. It didn’t feel like a typical tour; it felt like being invited into the culture. Every detail was handled with care, and their hospitality made the experience unforgettable. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Japan and the people who make it so special. Thank you so much to the entire team for such an incredible experience. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

I had a fantastic time with yuta san He is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about what he does. The tour was well organized, fun, and full of interesting stories. I discovered places I would never have found on my own. Highly recommended!

An experience of stories and of food.
The tour guides have an excellent way of making someone experience the food scene beyond the usual tourist spots/stores. Their food suggestions were fantastic! The wagashi was oishii and the green tea was perfection. The tour was also comfortable (for reference, I'm an introvert) as the conversations and historical contexts were interesting. Both guides were considerate and helpful (but I am too independent haha), they also spoke with the shop owners and would translate it for me which I find fascinating. It truly felt like I was just running errands with friends. Further, the area wasn't very crowded at this time so we didn't have to rush. This type of tour format is good for people who prefer to have a relaxing pace, but if you can only do exactly 2 hours then you can always inform the guides, they'd definitely accommodate you. Price was reasonsble as well. Definitely a good experience! ありがとうございます. 🙇🏻♀️

Une incroyable expérience food à Tokyo hors des sentiers battus en excellente compagnie
Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir un authentique Tokyo street food en dehors des sentiers battus, sans aucun autre touriste autour, grâce à nos guides Yuta, Michael et Tomoki. Ils sont tous les trois d’une gentillesse incroyable. Ils parlent très bien l’anglais, ce qui nous a permis de pouvoir vraiment beaucoup échanger avec eux. En plus de leurs explications sur la nourriture et le Japon de manière générale, nous avons beaucoup ri en leur compagnie, ils forment un super trio. Les adresses food sont toutes excellentes, je me souviendrai tout particulièrement de notre visite dans la boutique d’une obachan (mamie) adorable, dans laquelle nous avons goûté la finesse des patisseries japonaises traditionnelles, avec une parfaite démonstration de l'hospitalité à la japonaise. J’ai également beaucoup apprécié les onigiri dégustés dans une autre échoppe, ils étaient incroyables. Bref, un moment très convivial et chaleureux, et gourmand, en compagnie de Yuta, Michael et Tomoki. Je recommande fortement !! Que ce soit en couple, entre amis, en famille ou solo, je vous garantis que vous serez conquis ! Encore merci à vous 3 🙏

Discovering Tokyo Through Local Memories
This tour was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Tokyo. Yuta-san and Tomoki-san were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through Japanese traditions, teaching me how to properly enter a Torii gate, how to properly pray, and even engaging in fun language exchanges. We shared laughs, fun stories, and tried delicious local foods. They also shared nostalgic childhood memories connected to the delicacies we tried along the way, making the experience feel personal and heartwarming. By the end of the tour, I really felt a sense of attachment and connection to the places we visited and the experiences we shared. If you want to experience very local, nostalgic, and traditional Tokyo, this tour is perfect. the whole experience had such a fun, educational, and authentic local vibe, with few tourists around.

Expérience typique incroyable 🤩
Expérience incroyable avec Michitabi Tour 👍 Nos guides Yuta, Michel et Tomoki nous ont fait découvrir les meilleurs endroits cachés de Tokyo, loin de la foule de touristes. Nous avons pû goûter des mets traditionnels absolument délicieux et ressentir le Tokyo typique. Les explications étaient très claires et la compréhension facile en anglais. Notre moment préféré a été la visite de la pâtisserie spécialisée en wagashi avec la petite dame très accueillante. C'était vraiment génial, je recommande à 100% 🔥
