Great place for a day out! Koalas and kangaroos seemed to be very well looked after with lots of space.

(Translated by Google) It's definitely worth a visit. We came by bus, which was a bit bumpy. Next time, we might buy a one-day zoo pass (boat ticket, meals, and zoo admission) on the boat next to the museum for a more comfortable experience. (Original) 非常值得來看看,我們是搭公車來的,有點顛簸,下次可以在博物館旁邊的游船買一日動物園套票(船票、餐點加動物園門票)可能會更舒服

There are a lot of koalas. there are also kangaroos. This place is not far from Brisbane city (about 15-20 minutes by car). There are places to eat and drink in the park too.

Es war schön, die verschiedenen Tiere sehen zu können, aber einige haben gestresst gewirkt und wir hätten uns mehr Rückzugsmöglichkeit für die Koalas gewünscht.

Very expensive entry fee $59 EACH!! to look at animals in small enclosures. Tasmanian devil showed signs of anxiety through behaviour patterns. All the birds were in very small enclosures and looked stressed. The bat enclosure were all asleep but don’t know how they would be in the night with nowhere to fly. The koalas were in enclosures limited to climb and move around. Kangaroos were sitting while people went up to feed them and didn’t need to move around. Wasn’t any information saying why they were rescued or a story behind them. Considering the Australian zoo is $60 I don’t understand how this is so much. Not impressed 😢

(Translated by Google) The place is great: clean and the animals are super accessible. The salespeople were really friendly and gave great advice. Ideal for getting up close to the kangaroos and koalas. And discovering other Australian animals! (Original) Le lieu est top : propre et les animeaux super accessibles. Les vendeurs était vraiment gentils et de bons conseils. Idéal pour approcher les kangourous et koalas. Et découvrir les autres animeaux d'Australie !

We had a lovely time at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. We enjoyed walking around, feeding the kangaroos (even though a pigeon pooed on my head), and seeing the many animals. We also did the koala moment, where we got to meet and be up close with a koala which we loved. The highlight of the trip however was definitely the platypus behind the scenes. We got to prepare the food for and feed the two platypuses. We also had a great chat with the guide, who clearly loved the animals. Definitely recommend the visit, and if you have the time, the platypus behind the scenes tour.
