Lone Pine Sanctuary was a blast! If you're looking for a place to see koalas and kangaroos up close near Brisbane, then you can't go wrong with Lone Pine. They also have birds, reptiles, farm animals and other marsupials, so you'll never really run out of animals to see! I also highly recommend watching their sheepdog and free flight falcon show, as they were very entertaining and informative.

Highly recommend visiting Lone Pine. The cruise is public transit to the location, we drove ourselves since we had our luggage for the airport. Highly recommend the Koala Discovery tour booked directly with the Sanctuary you still need a day ticket for the Sanctuary. Great experience and the Sanctuary only has Australian animals and does wonderful education and great access to seeing so many koalas. Love submitting a Sanctuary that helps rehab Koalas. Loved my personal encounter with Benedict and the great tour by Anna.

This was a brilliant experience so relaxing seeing over 100 Koala’s. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Take the 430 bus from Brisbane it will only take 45 minutes. 10 out of 10.

First time here with 2 young children. It's certainly not cheap for entry and they price gouge for specialty items such as patting the koala. $35 to pat and get some photos in about 5 minutes. I paid $70 for 5 minutes for 2 kids...... Never again. Overall it's clean and fresh. Both of the children said the FAR preferred Australia Zoo and I agree.
