Clean， animals look healthy and happy， lots of good food and eateries as well. A great place to spend the day with little ones. They have rental strollers， but you can bring your own. Make sure to bring sunscreen and umbrella！ We were rained on and made the best of it， but not too many places to escape the rain or sun.

Visited the Houston zoo during long weekend.It was an awesome experience. Animal viewing are spacious, well taken care. Highlights of visit is viewing Penguin,Asian Elephants(Thailand, Teddy,Tony,Shanti,Kirby),Giraffe,Flamingos. The entire visit will take 5-6 hours of time so plan accordingly. Highlight of the visit is the Giraffee feeding (Sandy & Telly) and requires additional payment of $9. Suggested to visit early to avoid parking issues. Parking lots fill up quickly in the morning. Accessibility parking options available. Food options are very limited. Additionally can visit the children's train, Hermann park nearby to the zoo.

I visited the Houston Zoo and was very impressed 🌟. The territory is huge and beautifully maintained 🌳, with lots of greenery and nice walking paths 🚶♂️. There are truly many animals here 🐘🦒🦓, the enclosures are spacious, and it’s clear they are well cared for. I especially enjoyed watching the giraffes 🦒 and elephants 🐘. A special highlight was seeing the bald eagles 🦅 — the symbol of America 🇺🇸. There are two of them here, and they sit under the open sky, which makes the encounter even more impressive. There’s also an aquarium with marine life 🐠, an area with birds 🦜, and sections with rare species. For children, this place is a real paradise 👧🧒 — full of educational areas, games, and activities. The staff is friendly and always ready to help 🙌. The cafés and rest areas are convenient 🍔🥤, so you can grab a snack and enjoy the view. Parking is available nearby 🚗, and the location right in Hermann Park makes the zoo even more attractive. Overall, it’s one of the best zoos in the USA 🇺🇸, and I highly recommend visiting with the whole family 💯.

One of our favorite activities with the kids, the love boating their animal friends, especiallyfeedingthe giraffes. We typically focus of a different side of the zoo every time, so we can enjoy the visit without getting to rush to see it all at once Season pass is highly recommended!

It was the middle of the day at the end of August , so it was hot! We appreciated all the fans and cool areas you could visit throughout the park. I loved to see the animals moving and playing, like the seals, otters, penguins and monkeys. Bonus, we got to feed the giraffes! The dinosaur exhibit was a big hit with our little one!

Can't buy tickets at the zoo.. only online.. no military discounts I could find... more then half the animals were not out.. bottle of water is 7 bucks..insane.
