Had a great time today at the zoo with my family! There’s so many upgrades made since the last time I went. My toddler had a blast. I love all the fall decor they have as well. Tickets have to be purchased online and you pick time slots to enter. There’s lots of free parking but the parking lots fill up quickly, particularly on the weekends and holidays, so be cautious of that. They also do free Tuesdays on the first Tuesday of the month and discount tickets to SNAP/WIC recipients as well as military discount. Overall, we will definitely be going back but when it gets cooler.

Brew at the Zoo ! So much fun. Nighttime stroll through the Houston Zoo, with Beer sampling stations everywhere ! Very generous pours. Had a great time with friends

I am very upset I sat down last night and did the research of what I needed to do in order to get discount tickets it wouldn't allow me to do it online said I could do it at the gate drive an hour to the zoo to find out that they close at 1:00 instead of its usual time 5:00 this would have been my grandchildren's first time ever to the zoo and they're about to move away 6 hours nowhere online did it say it was closing early.or that I had to get tickets online

Zoo closes @ 1pm for a private event for vendors....it's a zoo for families, to enjoy, apparently they are struggling to stay open, how sad that they ha e to monopolize events for self indulgence, let's hope all those vendors paid enough to feed & support all necessary expenses, too many sad families went home today, thank you vendors and Houston Zoo, absolutely disappointed.

We love the Houston zoo! One of our most fave spots in the city. Get the membership. It is worth it. Parking is a pain in the behind.
