This is a beautiful city zoo. They have been making a lot of improvements over the last several years. I signed up for membership which if you go several times a year saves money.

At spring break all parking slots where full and it tooked an hour to find a parking spot. But the Zoo was definitely worth it.

Way overpriced! Don’t expect cold water when thirsty. It comes in an aluminum can and get hot within minutes. No good viewing areas for the animals and way overcrowded.

Went early to avoid the heat. Headed to the back to catch the monkeys & chimpanzees early while they were active. The gorillas were magnificent. The lions were so close up. Love the giraffes, incredible animals. Lots of places to sit and take breaks. Beautiful flowers along the entry way. Everyone enjoyed their day.

Very busy but well worth the drive. Parking was crazy but it always is around Hermann park. Kids had a great time exploring and seeing the animals. Definitely recommend going early.

Went on Spring Break and waited 2hrs to find parking, people fighting over parking spots. You must pay for tickets online and they are non-refundable nor can you switch them over to another day, this is quite unfair as there was very minimal animals to see….on Spring Break?! We walked the entire zoo in 1hr because there was literally no animals out. We were able to see the elephants, giraffes, birds and bugs. Most of the zoo is under construction right now so be ware. Two small icees were $27.00. We did bring our own food but wanted to purchase extra snacks. Bubbles were $30.00. I would recommend coming possibly during the week but call to make sure they will have animals to view in order to get your monies worth - $230 for 1hr of zoo and 2hrs of parking complete was of money/time.
