My family and I had a great time at zoo. We went minutes after they opened and left a hour and a half before closing. We visited every exhibit. It was super exciting for the kids to learn and the wife and I to spend time together.

We had a great time, we came on Tuesday so it was not many people and the zoo and restrooms were kept nice and clean. Everything is expensive per usual but all in all a good experience. Staff was friendly . Apparently zoo closed at 5 today and they were just following us around for us to leave although we were already were going to towards the exit which was not pleasant. I understand they wanna make sure no one is left behind but I feel like they could've gone in a different manner instead dod essentially escorting us to the exit like we were criminals or something

What an outstanding zoo! Never been there before despite visiting Houston for decades--what a fun place that I’ve been missing out on! Despite an age range from 4 to 55+, we all had a great time. They have so many great exhibits (the Galapagos was spectacular) that we ran out of time. Can't wait to go back!
