THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD !!! First of all, looking for a parking lot is insane!! They need to build levels up on the same parking lot. We were looking for a parking space for more than 1 hour ( I only stayed for my kids, I had promised them the zoo otherwise We would of left). My wife had checked the Zoo's hours on Google which said 9 am to 8 pm, that is a second reason we stayed. We ended up getting a parking lot 2 pm, by the time we got to the entrance, we noticed no tickets available only online. Therefore, by the time we got to the entrance and got the tickets it was between 230 and 3 pm. With all the rush getting in and getting tickets, we didn't see the messages on TVs "last entrance is before 3 pm. Zoo closes at 4 pm" we saw the message until we were waiting to complain. We barely saw a couple of animals and my kids were hungry. Therefore, we went to eat meanwhile we were eating, we heard to start getting ready and head to the entrance because the Zoo was getting ready to close. The 3rd reason I stayed I had asked employees at the parking lot. what time were they closing and I was told (barely heard) 8 pm and left, like if they didn't care if I heard or not. WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD THINK ZOO CLOSES AT 4 PM WHEN THERE IS A TONE OF PEOPLE GETTING/RUSHING TO GET IN BEFORE 3 PM?? we had searched on Google and it said 8 pm (SOME HOW IT SAID 8 PM THAT'S THE REASON WE STAYED) (once we complained we were told, "we don't go based on Google") HOW IN THE WORLD DO WE KNOW THAT??? WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD SEE THE WHOLE ZOO IN 1 HOUR?? Basically, we paid just to go eat, plus and of course all food super expensive !! Of course we complained, the best there able to do was to give us free passes to come back again valid for "6 months" once I looked at the tickets "Valid from October 2025 -April 2026. Bro, Oct, Nov, Dec just passed !! SERIOUSLY???? I got such a headache, I was so disappointed by the Zoo and their staff who on top of all that staff with long faces (if you don't like the job that you are doing, why are you even there?? some people need to get another job. JUST BECAUSE I HAVE TO GIVE A STAR, OTHERWISE THE RATE I WOULD PROVIDE WILL BE 0 STARS.... WE WERE TREATED SO PATHETIC ! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! ABSOLOUTLY ZOO NOT RECOMMENED !!!' THERE IS OTHER STUFF THAT WE CAN DEFINITELY DO IN HOUSTON AND WORTH BETTER MY MONEY AND MY TIME !!
