I love all of the redisgned exhibits and expansions the zoo has done recently. We visited on a colder day, so some animals were missing. The elephants exhibit was the best. The keeper talks were really informative, and they didn't mind answering questions. If you are budget minded, bring your own food. Pretty much any food item is expensive. They also do not have plastic lids or straws, so bring your own cup.

I loved it. Not a big zoo, but I liked that about it.

Visit 3-5-25: We visited the zoo today for the first time in 6 yrs. They have a new baby elephant that is super cute! If you're pinching pennies they have discount tickets for $9 adult and $9 child, if you are on SNAP or Medicaid. To gain entrance you now scan a QR code to purchase tickets and then show it to the entrance person to be scanned. The grounds and enclosures are so well maintained! They are building a fancy new cafe near the reflection pond. It's a wonderful place to spend the day!

I'll never go again. It was really disappointing. I can't believe how bad it's gotten and for $40 per person!!?? Robbery!! The cheapest drink was $4. Thank God for that. The food trucks had more pull than the animals in there. So sad. So many empty cages and you can't tell where anything is anymore. The people are rude too. I've been wanting to go to the zoo for over 3 years. I was so excited. Even my 11 year old was bored. He's NEVER bored! I'm just so in disbelief.

(Translated by Google) The trail is long enough for a leisurely stroll, and there are many animals; the ones we liked best were the larger ones: elephants, giraffes, and rhinos. You can bring your own water, but there are hardly any places to buy food inside, and the restrooms are also very few.

I have not been here in a while. But the upgrade they have done is very nice. Bigger and better. Looks nicer as well. Parking was pretty easy to find (we got there early). Overall, it's pretty good. We also brought our own food, which they did not tell us, nothing about bringing in. So that's perfect for families who prefer to bring food and of course they have picnic areas for you to eat. The restrooms were clean as well.
