Just a MONEY GRAB. Food is extremely expensive I paid $48 for a burger and a chicken sandwich and the drinks had no refills. What type of BS is that? Also, it was cold out and with all that money they make you’d think they’d put up some heaters for all the babies that are there. The staff was rude and there was nothing special about the lights. Unless you’re a wannabe Instagram/TikTok influencer this won’t be a good experience for you.

Overall, in general, we'll coordinate, we'll be treated, guidance if needed, security and coordination well communicated. Enough to enjoy the zoo and animals with family or friends.

It's basic but good. Relaxed, solid, and great place to bring kids. We highly recommend it.

(Translated by Google) The place is huge, but you can easily navigate it with the map. Entry costs $25, but I bought it with a CityPASS package, which is about half price. I think there's a free day; it's listed on the official website. There are water fountains where you can get water and refill your bottle. Feeding the giraffes is twice a day; I did it at 2 pm, and I think it cost $9, but I'm not sure. Some animals you can see depend on the weather, whether it's very hot or cold. The gorillas are impressive, as is the giraffe. There's a cave you can go into to see the lions from a different angle, and the marine area is very nice (better than the aquarium downtown). There's a cafe inside. It's a place to visit when you have plenty of time. You can also bring your own food and eat it there because there are areas with tables and chairs.

The Houston Zoo was great! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The highlight was definitely baby Kirby. Adorable. We spent ages just watching her and the rest of the herd.
