Plan about 4 hours for this. The entire place was mesmerizing and they have maps up at the front with the directory and believe me you're going to need one

The Houston Zoo has changed a lot since I was a kid. It's grown and growing. The care for these animals is obvious. They enjoy their home and caretakers. The shaded paths and air-conditioned inlets are great for the human animals to observe. Look to spend 4 hours here to see 'everyone'.

Great place to bring the family. Just lots of construction going on right now. The extra exhibits (dino walk) cost money to enter. The gift shop could be better, my kid got a magnet but the magnet part literally fell off when we got to the car.
