Our family goes every year when we visit Texas because my sister has a pass that gets 10 people in for free. We loved watching the seals swim around, the elephants feeding, and the sharks and turtles swim by in the aquarium. We didn't get to see the Zoo Lights (Christmas and New Years) but even during the day, we could still enjoy the extra decorations!

We had an exhilarating experience at the Houston Zoo Lights during the 2024 Christmas season! The dazzling light displays depicting various animals were truly magical. We pre-booked our tickets and enjoyed a smooth entry with no wait time. The crowd size was comfortable, allowing ample opportunity for photos. We were thoroughly satisfied with our visit and highly recommend it to others.

My kids absolutely love going to the zoo. Big enough to spend the day but small enough to do all the activities in one day as well. We go at least once a year, always something new!
