When we arrived there was no wait. Make sure to go in comfortable clothing and shoes. Outside food is allowed.

I will recommend Houston Zoo to EVERYONE! I thought the animals wouldn't be there, like it was just - go to a zoo. They were all there. Neat enclosures, water for those that need it and all that. A bit crowded but yeah, we all came to see. I'll visit all year round if I can. Enjoy the pictures and videos!

You can spend all day here. Lots of fun animals and play areas for kids to run around!

You have to buy tickets in advance, make reservations online. The parking lot situation is horrible. But it’s expected in the big city of Houston. Arrive early as they open at 9 AM and the first parking lot was already to its full capacity when we arrived at 8:50am. We went on a Friday. Not sure if if it would be any better Monday through Thursday. you’re allowed to bring snacks, drinks,strollers,wagons to pull babies around. They currently have the 🦖 dinosaur exhibit until Sept 1. (Followed by holiday exhibits in the following months) This is located inside the zoo, but it’s not included in your admission ticket. The price is $10.95 per person. The only beer option is Saint Arnold’s. It was a good day at the zoo.

It’s a wonderful zoo, we spent all day and still couldn’t have wandered around for longer.
