As for zoo’s I guess this is a good one. During our visit there was construction directly in the middle of the park so I feel our experience lacked a bit. Many of the animals were not on display. The park is pretty large so even with the construction there was more than enough room to comfortably walk. I’d go again.

This zoo is wonderfully laid out! Spring or late fall is definitely the best time to visit as the weather is nice and the animals are usually all out and visible. The huge oak trees are awesome and provide lots of shade. They offer a free admission day once a month but I wouldn’t advise going on that day because it’s extremely busy. Traffic is tough getting into the downtown area but it is well worth it to get to enjoy the animals. Definitely a five star rating!!

Our family loved the Zoo. We pretty much spent the whole day there. The animals were out, some really nice enclosures compared to some other zoos we've visited. Food was a little bit high priced but the options were nice. Overall, it was a very enjoyable day.

Beautiful enclosures, well maintained grounds and plenty of activities planned to engage with the zookeepers and some animals. The barrage of helicopters circling was startling but the animals seem used to it so that must be a regular occurrence. The large remodel made the walk path a bit confusing.

Wonderful zoo filled with a menagerie of animals. The zoo does a great job at blending both part zoo part peaceful walk.
