Went on a Sunday, around noon. It was not as packed as you would expect to not find a parking spot. Our child enjoyed it. Got to feed the giraffes and ride the carousel. There are food trucks throughout the premises. You can bring a backpack in and a water bottle. Highly recommend buying tickets online. Fun experience!

Took my niece here for her birthday and there was plenty for her to engage with. The plaquards for each animal were informative and helpful as I didn't know most of the animals offhand already and it was fun getting to learn their names together as we moved from enclosure to enclosure. My dad and I are both disabled vets and we were able to rent scooters easily at the white tent to the right of the main gate without any trouble; it made the experience so much better since we didn't have to make the kiddo go unnecessarily slow on her birthday! Altogether excellent experience. Definitely bring a parasol and a misting fan (they do sell both here if you forget) as it was quite hot and bright and sunny when we went but we didn't sunburn due to our precautions and we had a good time.

We love the zoo as our experiences are always educational and entertaining! A few of our favorites are feeding the giraffes, visiting the gorilla exhibit, seeing the Pantanal area, and, of course, stopping by the Galapagos Islands exhibit My little ones always enjoy learning from the volunteers and trained zoo keepers. During this trip, we visited the Jurassic Giants exhibit, and it was incredible! My dino loving 5 year old was simply amazed! I highly recommend it before it's gone!
