I love the Houston Zoo and all the upgrades such as the Galapagos Island and the many other habitats that are now upgraded, It is a beautiful & fun place to go for family and friends I love seeing Kirby, the new baby elephant. We also enjoy the pedal boats and the railway train to finish off a great experience.

Houston zoo is truly world class. 90% shaded by trees. Great views of animals (even when sleeping, you get to see them) The viewing decks/platforms are so vast and clear that you dont miss much from the animal enclosure. Whoever designed it, is great at what they do. They do have a wide variety of animals - its FUN TIME.

Wonderful zoo and very easy to navigate and walk around . Friendly staff if you have any questions regarding the animals.Would recommend purchasing tickets on line prior to going .Admission price is reasonable.

Very nice, but come prepared if you go during the summer. Cooler with iced drinks and portable personal fans to give ideas.

Came to attend a wedding reception in the evening time after the zoo had closed. It was fantastic because we were able to feed the giraffes while we waited for the reception festivities to start. Highly recommend checking this venue out for a reception if you are interested in a post-wedding celebration space.

Took my Son for his 10th birthday + my Father's Day and we had a blast. Some construction going on and a few exhibits closed but still a great place and plenty to see and do
