Experience was great, we saw orcas and a humpback. Boat was not too crowded which was great, plenty of space to view up top. Beautiful city and beautiful boat ride!

Amazing experience! Worth every penny!
Hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever done ! Absolutely worth the money and I would absolutely do it again! We saw so many animals, the on board naturalist was an amazing guide, food drinks and merchandise available for sale. Also purchase the flash drive because they take pictures for you so you can focus on being present in the moment and seeing everything with your eyes instead of through your phone!

Seen both a grey and orca whale. The orca put on a show! Nice staff and excellent explaining of whales and the area. Also saw multiple sea lions.

Whale watching experience
It’s about a 4 1/2 hour excursion and quite enjoyable. Upper deck, main cabin and lower deck with snack bar and wash rooms. Very clean and friendly. I purchased a flash drive with all the sights we saw. Very professionally done!

An enjoyable experience on a sunny day
A greater amount of information was provided by the naturalist. She knew a lot about the whales that we saw. The crew was very friendly. The seats were very comfortable. The food available for sale on board was good and the selection was appropriate. The captain and the naturalist were both good at explaining where we were going and what we would see. Additionally, they told us about the family of orcas that we spent a lot of time watching.

A great way to travel in comfort and style.
We were very, very impressed with the Clipper V service. We booked the VIP Comfort seats and booked 1st Row Seats. Wow! What a view. the seats are ultra comfortable and you have a lovely table to put your drinks and food on. The booking included complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, tea/coffee and snacks which we indulged in and also bought one of their delicious Chicken Caesar Wraps and a bottle of wine! The ferry itself is very impressive. We checked our luggage in but if you are bringing your own on board with you, there are plenty of luggage racks you can place it in. We travelled at 32knots and it was a great way to arrive in Seattle as you arrive right in the city centre on the beautiful waterfront. Highly recommend this service as a great way to travel between Victoria & Seattle or vice versa.

Never made it out to the water. Wasted trip.
I’m pretty upset about missing this. I spent $65 in an uber to get here, I’ll pay the same to get back. Why would you NOT list that guests should arrive 15 minutes prior? It seems like the most basic of information that should be included. You have it plastered on site but not anywhere in the instructions or meeting details? I made sure to get here on time just to watch the boat leave. I don’t mind getting here 15 mins to departure but why not communicate that????????

Smooth and easy travel between Seattle and Victoria
We actually took the ferry in both directions: Seattle to Victoria and then four days later took it back to Seattle. We had very smooth water both ways, no issues with seasickness at all. The boat was clean and the seats were comfortable. There is a full snack bar available as well. Boarding in Seattle was quick and easy, but the waiting room in Victoria is bare and kind of reminded us of a prison, no comfortable chairs to sit in and very stark room. But overall, this is a very convenient way to travel between Seattle and Victoria whether for a day or several days.

Great experience
Great experience. Saw seals, orcas and a grey whale. To have a marine biologist on a mic explaining the various aspects of sea life was a terrific bonus. The view of Seattle both directions was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Have proper expectations. Don’t book premium seats.
While the crew were very nice and helpful and the food for sale is decent, I would not waste your money on premium seats. The windows are a bit cloudy and not completely clear. In fairness, it would be almost impossible to keep them clear simply due to the elements. Standard seating is perfectly fine as most everyone goes on the bow or top deck when whales have been spotted. Therefore, it is a waste of money to reserve premium seating. Whales may or may not be located. In our case, the crew certainly located some Gray Whales but we really could only see their backs crest the water. However, that resulted in excitement from the tourists. The information conveyed by the guide was very interesting and enjoyable.

The BEST way to get from Victoria BC Canada to Seattle Washington State USA. TWO THUMBS UP!!!
If you need to travel from Victoria BC Canada to Seattle Washington USA or vice-versa, this is the way to do it. I was upstairs by the window with a table in seat 8A. It was comfortable & plenty to see along the way. Nice hot chocolate from the galley too! A great way to travel & could check my luggage in several hours earlier with really friendly reception staff.

This was a magical trip. Orca’s, Grey Whale and sea lions. Could not believe our luck. Was given plenty of time to view. Well worth it…..Amazing

FUN
Had a great day in the Salish Sea. Saw many gray whales, including one that poked its head out of the water and spied on its watchers. also saw lounging seals and a bald eagle pair at its nest on blakely rock from which the critters had a great view of seattle. the boat had a nice place to get food and drinks. the crew was friendly and helpful. don't miss the experience!!!

great cruise but a bit disappointed in the seating.
i paid premium seating but ended up in an aisle seat which i couldn’t see out at all. i went to the top level which is open seating in order to see. a bit disappointed i paid extra for a seat that you can’t use. but, the cruise was nice. saw seals, grey whales and eagles.

No bad days on the water
Guaranteed viewing of whales. Unfortunately we didn’t see orcas so the bucket list remains unmarked. But we saw many gray whales, sea lions, seals, bald eagles and other sea birds. The onboard naturalist knows her stuff and explained things in a fun and easy to understand way. Decent food and drink options at decent prices. I think it’s a very good value. The boat is clean and comfortable. Very efficient and friendly operation. Great experience for all ages. I want to go again!

Bucket list
Such an Awesome crew! We saw a pod of 5 Orcas , momma and her 4 calf’s and then 6 greys! Such a wonderful atmosphere, crew was knowledgeable and always kept the animals wellbeing first. Cabin was comfortable and easy to move around including outside. Yummy drinks and food too! I would highly recommend. Easy access just down the street from the cruise port.

Do not miss this tour in Seattle
Very well organised tour with a great guide, Alison and the crew. She told many interesting fact about the wildlife, particularly about whales. We were lucky to follow an Orca group and watch the Humpback whale calf presenting a real show for us. It was wonderful experience.

Graycful Whale Watching
My 8 yr old son and I went from Edmonds on a rather wet week day in early April to spot some Gray whales. And we were so privileged to spot a couple. Disappointed not to see orcas that day, but nature is unpredictable. We took a zip car from downtown Seattle as 25-30 mins away. Easy parking, comfortable vessel, great lunch and very welcoming and knowledgeable staff, with good on board resources to identify the whales. Highly recommend this trip. To PSE - I wish the mug for life was a travel mug, so I could share the experience with all.
