We saw Orca so it was good

Greg whale watch
The crew takes their time to explain things and will follow the whales when they find them so that we get a good long look at them.

Excellent! Options to have Vip service, great views, lovely trips you can get a package and it’s worth your time and money. You will simply adore your time in British Columbia. I highly recommend going to Victoria on the clipper. Magical and so organized and comfy on the boat!

We came to Seattle to catch a Mariners game and decided last minute to add a trip to Victoria, BC—so glad we did. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive; they even provided motion sickness medication, which made a big difference for the ride. One crew member in particular stood out—she (Test) was absolutely the best and made our experience even more memorable. (See photo!) Captain Derek Carr 🚗.

Despite booking and paying in advance, as well as arriving early (prior to the stated check in time), we were instructed at the counter to sit aside while countless other passengers and latecomers lined up, checked in, and all boarded. Only after the check in area cleared out (and even a few minutes longer in the empty check in area!) were we finally called up, checked in and boarded last prior to departure. What a strange way to treat customers!

This was a great tour....
This was a great tour. Well organized, seats in waiting area. Highly recommend! We saw a pod of 6 orcas and Gray whales. It was a beautiful day so we had time to enjoy the one hour cruise each way out and back.

Wow, we got to see a pod...
Wow, we got to see a pod of orcas. We watched them play for about an hour. The trip was just over three hours, but it was beautiful scenery and great tour guides.

Orcas!
Great vessel with comfy seating and plenty of space. Knowledgeable crew. Saw 2 small pods of Bigg’s killer whales on that particular day, and captain made sure we had ample time with them.

I’ve lived in the area 20 plus years but have never successfully spotted orcas until today! We got this certificate at a charity auction, but I definitely think it would be worth the money for a special trip or for visitors. The ship was very comfortable. The staff were great good food and drink options and a pleasant memorable experience all around. Highly recommend!

We had a nice morning exploring Seattle and the surrounding areas. The crew was friendly, and the boat ride was enjoyable. While we did see whales, it was mostly fins and very small parts of their bodies above the water. During the trip, we were told boats must stay at least 200 yards away from the whales, which also limits how much you can see them. Because of that, I don't think the advertising should show whales breaching right next to the boat, as it creates expectations that aren't realistic. I understand the distance rules are for the whales' protection and completely out of the tour's control, but it would be helpful to set those expectations beforehand. I also would have liked a little more information and facts during the tour. One thing to note is that many of the reviews seem to be for the Victoria trip rather than the whale watching tour, which can make expectations a bit misleading. Overall, it was a good experience, but I'm not sure it was worth the price.

This was a really...
This was a really enjoyable outing. It got cold and windy (bring layers!!) but there were sheltered areas. A naturalist told us about what we were seeing and took photos that were shared with us. The cruises collect and share important scientific information about fully wild animals, so your ticket purchase might do a little good.

Only Whale Watching Tour Departing from Seattle Waterfront
Nice boat. Very accommodating. Just wished we saw more whale activity and orcas.
The openness to move around and talk with the guide.

The trip was brilliant. We saw Orcas, humpbacks, seals. Staff were really friendly and informative. The boat was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to sit and move around to see the wildlife. Could not fault the trip in any way
