Seen both a grey and orca whale. The orca put on a show! Nice staff and excellent explaining of whales and the area. Also saw multiple sea lions.

It’s about a 4 1/2 hour excursion and quite enjoyable. Upper deck, main cabin and lower deck with snack bar and wash rooms. Very clean and friendly. I purchased a flash drive with all the sights we saw. Very professionally done!

It’s about a 4 1/2 hour excursion and quite enjoyable. Upper deck, main cabin and lower deck with snack bar and wash rooms. Very clean and friendly. I purchased a flash drive with all the sights we saw. Very professionally done!

Unless this is your absolutely last resort, I cannot stress enough to not take this. Have taken this vessel 6 times now and every single time I question what I was thinking. Non refundable tickets, absurdly overpriced, high seas on one trip where 80% of passengers on board were literally puking on tables and the ground, another trip they cancelled a sailing at the very last minute due to staffing issues but then refused to compensate in any way even though this caused work to be missed, and then the one time I took my bike they not only overcharged for that but upon arrival back in Seattle it was just left by the exit door waiting to be stolen. All this and yet somehow acting like a premium option. Fly, drive, walk, swim, these are all better options.

I love taking the Clipper ferry between Seattle and Victoria, it is so comfortable and smooth! Comfort class is worth it; it’s on the second story and has its own bathrooms, great views, a free espresso and snacks, and more. You can travel with your dog on here too, and I’ve seen people check bikes. You can carry on smaller luggage just like an airplane, and check baggage as well. It’s about 3 hours one way. You can also get some fresh air on the back deck.

An enjoyable experience on a sunny day
A greater amount of information was provided by the naturalist. She knew a lot about the whales that we saw. The crew was very friendly. The seats were very comfortable. The food available for sale on board was good and the selection was appropriate. The captain and the naturalist were both good at explaining where we were going and what we would see. Additionally, they told us about the family of orcas that we spent a lot of time watching.

We were very, very impressed with the Clipper V service. We booked the VIP Comfort seats and booked 1st Row Seats. Wow! What a view. the seats are ultra comfortable and you have a lovely table to put your drinks and food on. The booking included complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, tea/coffee and snacks which we indulged in and also bought one of their delicious Chicken Caesar Wraps and a bottle of wine! The ferry itself is very impressive. We checked our luggage in but if you are bringing your own on board with you, there are plenty of luggage racks you can place it in. We travelled at 32knots and it was a great way to arrive in Seattle as you arrive right in the city centre on the beautiful waterfront. Highly recommend this service as a great way to travel between Victoria & Seattle or vice versa.

I’m pretty upset about missing this. I spent $65 in an uber to get here, I’ll pay the same to get back. Why would you NOT list that guests should arrive 15 minutes prior? It seems like the most basic of information that should be included. You have it plastered on site but not anywhere in the instructions or meeting details? I made sure to get here on time just to watch the boat leave. I don’t mind getting here 15 mins to departure but why not communicate that????????
