Loved it!
Very comfortable! Enjoyed having tables to play card games! The crew was very kind and helpful. The seats were very comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend the Victoria clipper to anyone traveling from Victoria to Seattle!

Didn’t see a single whale
The crew was great, the boat was great, the tour itself was very good but I had to rate 3 stars because we didn’t see any whales at all, and I wish we all received partial refunds because I live very very far in Florida and they offered a rebooking for another day but I was leaving the next day and that’s not a reasonable solution for most of us that are visiting and do not plan to come back to Washington at all, so basically I lost money :/ 50% refund is what I want because I cannot just come back from Florida to Washington to rebook the trip so it was money lost - so 3starts is my rating

A Relaxing Way to Travel to Victoria
My husband and I took my mother in law to Victoria for an overnight stay. The travel on the FRS Clipper was a relaxing way to get to our destination. The staff, designated overnight parking garage, and travel options greatly contributed to the experience. We booked the Vista class which is a 6 seat, nicely appointed table configuration. This may get a little crowded if others are seated across from you. We ended up spreading out our party of three to make it more comfortable. For parties of two who are wanting more relaxed accommodations, there is the comfort class. We were especially grateful for Hank who made the check-in and onboard experience enjoyable.

Experience was great, we saw orcas and a humpback. Boat was not too crowded which was great, plenty of space to view up top. Beautiful city and beautiful boat ride!

Beautiful day and weather. We saw one cute orca, herons, bald eagles, and sea lions. Amazing vistas and views of Mt. Ranier and Mt. Adams. Naturalist was knowledgeable and provided commentary about the wildlife and locations.

Great boat trip! Very easy to purchase tickets. It was nice having a biologist on board to educate us about the animals when we saw them. Seats were comfortable, mini cafe was nice but they ran out of items quickly. Also wouldn't hurt to continue selling merch until customers get off the boat.

A must-do activity whilst in Seattle! We went on the San Juan trip in early June and it didn't disappoint. We saw a grey whale and an orca, as well as some seals and even a eagle. We booked premium seats, but it really wasn't necessary as we spent most of our time up top which is unreserved. It can be chilly out on the water even on a sunny day, so I'd recommend bringing extra layers.

Over priced and over crowded. More like a human watch than a whale watch. We booked a whale watching tour and would have been better however the captain thought the only way to view the whale was if it was directly in front of us. With the masses huddling at the front, it was impossible for anyone on the sides to see. Ideally there would be more angling so all onboard can see. Most of our time was spent cruising. Best to book smaller tour and maybe not one that doubles as a ferry. The information offered onboard limited. While interesting ant times, the guide was mostly quiet. The staff were very friendly but certainly the most tourist trap thing you can do.

We saw so many animals, the on board naturalist was an amazing guide, food drinks and merchandise available for sale. Also purchase the flash drive because they take pictures for you so you can focus on being present in the moment and seeing everything with your eyes instead of through your phone!

Highly recommend
Seen both a grey and orca whale. The orca put on a show! Nice staff and excellent explaining of whales and the area. Also saw multiple sea lions.
