I happen to take the Clipper ferry from Victoria to Seattle (round trip). We got the vista class seats and it was a really good experience. The checkin process went very smoothly. The only caveat is the waiting times at the arrival terminals are surprisingly long

I had booked reservations back in January, under the false impression that there was a 20% discount for the month of January special. The same discount is available now in Feb. When I contacted FRS by phone to cancel my reservation, due to a change in circumstances I was informed my tickets were non refundable. When I requested that I be transferred to a supervisor I was told that was only possible if I cancelled my tickets and lost my payment. Then and only then would I be transferred to a supervisor, to state my case. Be careful when you book!! I guess I should have read the fine print, as I wouldn't have booked that far in advance if I had realized it was non refundable.

Overall the service is good but be warned if one plans on parking in the Bell Street Parking Garage. It's apparently cash only which seems odd in this day and age. Luckily the attendant took pity on us and let us get by with just paying $10 [2/17/25 @ 9:00 PM]. This is the recommended parking for the Victoria Clipper customers, and I don't recall any warnings on their website about it being a cash-only operation.

Special mention for Jacob and all the staff today from Seattle to Victorias passage. Jacob and the staff were friendly and accommodating to me traveling alone with a toddler. Love the complimentary window upgrade in economy and the story the captain told about the depth of the sound. Appreciate the dock staff waving us bon voyage from the dock as we departed! The staff very easily accommodated our stroller and a special mention for the yummy beverage (even though massively overpriced!). We booked last minute but we’re still able to take advantage of a special online which is nice as we often travel on the Clipper to visit the grandparents. Bon voyage!
