This was such a great way to visit Victoria. I flew from NC to Seattle, took the Clipper to Victoria and had a blast. Snack bar, plenty of luggage storage and fun souvenirs on board. The process was fast and seamless. The staff were great. No outdoor seating. You can stand. It was an excellent option for crossing the US/CA boarder.

Honestly, would have been a really great experience but no whales or orcas over the 5 hours. Obviously the tour company couldn’t do anything about it, they are wild animals, but a free trip for next time doesn’t really work for someone visiting from the UK. Would come again and (hopefully) would see Whales if I lived closer.

Great experience, highly recommend
The crew was very personable, took the time to visit with guests. Extended the trip to ensure we saw whakes, we ended up experiencing one of the best sighting for the 2025 season.

We had such a great experience taking the ferry to Victoria. Sat in comfort class. I can't say enough on how wonderful Hank was as a host. Such great hospitality. I was definitely able to see that he loves his job. Made such great recommendations and followed up to see how they turned out. Will definitely return. Hank made our boating experience great.

very beautiful boat ride, and very nice and accommodating staff! only note is DO NOT go for a day trip on thursday. It leaves after a significantly shorter time period then every other day, so you only get 2 hours in victoria as opposed to 6. they do make you pay the same price, which is why i would recommend a different day!

Be Aware of Time
This group is very professional. Just be aware that they want to find whales for you. It may take more than 3 hours. As we boarded they said that it would probably take at least six hours to find whales. We appreciated that information. We could not spend that much time so we hopped off. I’m sure everyone on the boat had a wonderful time and saw lots of whales but we could not invest that much time. I’m sure I failed to notice that in the sign up information. I’m sure it was not them but it was me. I’m mentioning all of this in the review so others take this into account. Next time we are in Seattle we will schedule more time and go see whales with them.

Victoria Clipper
A great way to travel from Victoria, BC to Seattle. Seats are comfortable and a great view of Puget Sound. This was comfortable and quick.

Es cierto que el barco era muy grande, por lo que más estable, aunque más alejados del agua. Pero pudimos disfrutar de avistamientos de ballenas, dos especies distintas, y en especial el de las orcas fue increíble. Para mí mereció completamente la pena. Además el parque que se visita, las aves, leones marinos, no tiene desperdicio, fue una experiencia inolvidable.

Fun event with friends Boat was relaxing, food sold on board was really good and we got to see killer whales, sea lions, and a few porpoises. Premium seating was worth it.

Incorrect sailing time by Viator
Ferry schedule was changed and notification was sent to Viator. However, Viator did not send us updates on the time change AND continued on the day of sailing to send verifications using the incorrect sailing time. This cost my family a day of preplanned activities to be wasted.
