We saw three orcas and it was beautiful. But the ship was way too big meaning it couldn’t get that close because of regulations. Also there is over 200 people on board, so sometimes it was not easy to see the wildlife as it was too crowded. The crew was lovely and it was a fun experience.

The staff, boat and ride were all excellent. Unfortunately we did not encounter any whales or any other wildlife on this date. We did receive a pass for a future tour for free, but since we live far away may not be able to use it. Always be prepared that the wildlife may have other plans for you.

If you haven't been to Victoria, you HAVE to take the Victoria Clipper to Victoria. The trip is absolutely incredible. The staff takes care of everything to make it so you can relax and enjoy the amazing views. We are so impressed that a company this big also takes the time to give back to small local youth programs to make soccer more affordable. Thank you, FRS Clipper, for being so involved in the community and caring so much about our youth!

Started off poorly with a rude worker when boarding. Zero whales. I’m surprised they don’t have a better way to find out where whales are located. The ‘no whale’ guarantee was useless as being an international tourist, I won’t be back to be able to use it. Seat was comfortable and the galley staff were pleasant.

They did not have my booking. It took an additional 15 minutes to check in. I did not like all the kids on the boat running back and forth, baby screaming and the staff did nothing. And I mean literally screaming from boarding to about 10 minutes before the end of us returning back to Seattle.

Loved how the ferry slowed to observe the whales on our way to Victoria. The ride was comfortable and it was nice that they provided nausea assist. Beautiful scenery and pleasant staff

I chose FRS Clipper for our whale watching tour because of the nearby location (departing from downtown Seattle) and later departure time. The entire tour lasted about 4-5 hours, about an hour to make it to the area where whales were reported, then a few hours looking around for them and then returning. We managed to see a juvenile humpback whale which was amazing! He came up after dives about 3 or 4 times before we had to move on as to not disturb him. Along the way they also took us by sea lions on a buoy, and a rock filled with seals. The staff was great and always kept us informed on where we were going and teaching us about the whales. They were also very respectful of the wildlife and even sounded the horn at a speedboat that was approaching the whale way too fast. All in all it was a great experience and I very much recommend these guys! Of course we would have loved to see more whales, but that’s unpredictable and they still made it as exciting of a trip as they could.

Gather prior information about parking lot, if you are driving to the venue. Book window seats for better view. Middle seats not only prevent from a better view but also too close to have comfort while seating across fellow passenger.

Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein hatten wir eine sehr ruhige Überfahrt. Hank hat sich auf der Überfahrt zuvorkommend um die Reisenden gekümmert. Besser und entspannter kann man einen Tagesausflug nicht starten und beenden.
