I bought the Comfort tickets (the most expensive ones) they supposedly give you fast check in and entry to the vessel, and they do, but when you get there there’s a huge line and no indication where your comfort line starts, so i got on the line everyone else was at, after a long wait in line with a heavy bag I realized I could’ve gone directly through without doing the long lone, but there was no way i couldve known, because theres no indication until you're already inside, so did that line in vain. Then I finally got checked in and in the back room where you board, people were already lining up blocking access to those of us who paid extra to board faster, so AGAIN I had to do another long line. The ferry itself is great, so I don't want to be an unfair Karen, but if you are offering an expedited access for the most expensive tickets make sure to make it easier for the people who got those tickets to actually get through with ease. It is extremely annoying and disappointing to have to do regular lines or having to squeeze through to get a “benefit” you paid for. Do better

Save the money unless you need an easy way to Victoria.

The advertisement says it is 3 hours each way, but for us it was 4 hours each way. The captain said we were making great time each way, so that sounded normal. We did this as a day trip to Victoria, and I’m not sure we would have if we would have known it was 8 hours round trip for a ~4 hour excursion. There were quite a few children screaming and running around- bumping into other passengers/causing chaos- and many parents on their phones. While I understand kids are kids, this felt more like day care running around since they couldn’t get lost on the boat. A kids deck or a place to take screaming children would be valuable so all passengers don’t have to pay the price of absentee parenting. We also had to wait each disembarkation for passengers who need extra time to get off the boat first. I’m not sure what sense that makes to make everyone wait for the people who need extra time. Wouldn’t it be better for everyone involved to have the people who need extra time to disembark last? Just detracted from the overall experience. As soon as we got aboard we went to the galley for some breakfast and 1/2 the menu was already sold out, along with many of the drink choices. It felt like an unprepared staff day. Just a bummer. The staff was friendly though.

Easy check-in, no drama, decent seating. Feels like you get what you pay for. Would not recommend the upgraded fares. Moderately better views and seating

They completely canceled our original route which was from Victoria to Seattle. Instead made us boat from victoria to Port Angeles then made us take a bus back to Seattle. Over 7 hours of travel that I did not sign up for and I wasn’t even reimbursed. Not a reliant boating system, really disappointed in the people who run things at FRS Clipper and walked away from a good trip on just a terrible ending.

I came on Friday evening from Victoria to Seattle in comfort class. On board coffee from the coffee machine was cold and stale. I tried again after 1.5 hours thinking it might take time to warm up but still it was cold. Bad Experience. Staff was okay.

Perfetto 👍

Traghetto veloce comodissimo per raggiungere l'isola di Vancouver da Seattle. 3h di navigazione, traghetto pulito, puntuale, dotato di bagni e possibilità di acquistare cibo e bevande a bordo.

What a great experience! Really nice staff, clean ship, and great drinks. Had a really good smooth ride both to Victoria and back to Seattle. We paid for a vacation packages that included the transportation, the hotel and a walking tour of the Butchart Gardens that also included transportation there and back. If you're going to go visit this is the way to go.

edit I was finally able to get in touch with the office and they kindly resolved the issue The ride itself to Victoria was fine but customer service is dismal. Upon arrival in Victoria I discovered that the baggage handlers had damaged my bike derailleur. I filled out the damage claim through Clipper Vacations on the spot and was told the manager would reach out to me, and I was left to figure out the repair on my own. It’s now been more than 3 months and no one has reached out to me, AND my emails through the “Contact Us” form on their website have gone unanswered for more than a month. I would not trust them again with my bike and will avoid for future trips.
