Dandyhorse bike rental with Jay is the best. We had not ridden e-bikes before. Jay was very patient and answered all our questions until we were ready to pedal away. He gave us great tips and advice. We will definitely come back and ask for Jay.

Eli and Frankie were very helpful providing us with bikes! We biked GGP and the Outer Sunset; Frankie was kind to have shared some cool history regarding the Sunset and the Outside Lands!

We were immediately welcomed by Frankie who was a local and provided us with all the local hot spots and suggest routes based on the time we had. She was supper accommodating and made sure we were comfortable with our bikes and provided us with safety tips. I will definitely recommend and come back! The location is near plenty of places to eat and cool places to check out. 10 stars for Frankie for making our day easier for us!

We had a great time on this private bike tour! Our group of about 10 people spoke different languages, which made things a bit chaotic, but our guide was incredibly patient and funny. He kept the energy positive and never rushed us. The powerful e-bikes made the ride smooth and easy, and he was even ready with a small first-aid kit. Highly recommend for anyone who loves exploring!

Frankie was great, we loved the Radbikes with the Thule kids seat. Frankie even took a photo of us all post ride. Very convenient public parking in the Kezar lot and a block away from the park.

Dandyhorse is a great place to rent an e-bike . This is my second time and both times it has been a very good experience as they have really good bikes. This time I dealt with Frankie and she was amazing. Even though the shop was very busy she was able to take care of everyone very effeciently. She also has a wonderful personality so it really was a pleasure dealing with her.

After a stressful morning finding out that another bike rental place didn’t have the bikes we needed, we were so happy to find Dandyhorse. We were able to walk in on a Friday and rent 2 bikes immediately from Frankie. The newer e-bikes bikes came with a helmet, lock, and cup holder; everything we needed to zip around the city. We felt super safe riding the e-bikes.. safer than the electric scooter rentals I’ve tried in the past. The bikes also did not scream “tourist” which was much appreciated as a local. Frankie was also super helpful and gave us essential tips on parking and how to work the e-bikes. She also shared amazing knowledge about her favorite places to check out, something that only someone born and raised in SF could provide. Overall we had a great time! Thank you so much Frankie & Dandyhorse!

This was an epic way to see San Francisco. John was a great guide. He looked out for everyone and their safety. The hills were a breeze with the e-bikes and John’s recommendations for power levels to use. I’m in my 60’s, exercise occasionally, and I did fine. Don’t hesitate, just book it. You’ll be happy!

We are Bay Area natives and Eli was truly amazing with the amount of fun facts he shared, the stories he told and the local history he brought to life…from the early pre-49er era to modern times.
