I got to give a shout out to Frankie. She was attentive and went above and beyond helping some lost tourists like ourselves. Frankie was extremely kind and even gave us some other places to enjoy our night after the bike ride. The bikes have a basket on the front and have a phone holder for easy GPS tracking. I highly recommend getting the e-bike if you are regular tourist who is in for the fun rather than the exercise. The hills are rough to go up without an electric bike. The price is well worth what we got out of Dandyhorse and Frankie.

hired a e-bike for four hours from the man Jay at Dandyhorse… excellent service, and had a great day on and off-road, checking out the secret trails and the golden gate’s flora and fauna. beautiful experience.

TOP NOTCH! We did a three day bike rental with two bikes and two kids seats for our long weekend in SF AND WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME! The bikes were perfect and easy to use for getting around the city. Frankie is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Frankie set us up on our rides and peppered us with the perfect recommendations for food and sights. There is no better way to see the city than by bike and this place does it right.

Amazing bike rental! Prices are great, ebikes were great (really impressed actually with the very trustworthy phone holder and a water bottle holder super handy). Frankie was very helpful and recommended for us to use the app to map out our route to Sausalito. And bonus she gave us a bunch of recommendations for the rest of our day!

The service was top-notch. They super enthusiatically helped me plan out a great tour. That green e-bike was well-maintained and gave me enough power to see a huge swath of the City in a few hours. At 6'4", I was at the upper limit of height that those bikes can accommodate. Make sure to take that car-free ride along Ocean beach!

My husband and I rented e-bikes for a little afternoon ride through GGP and had such a lovely experience with Dandyhorse! Frankie gave us great tips for using the bikes and fun things to see in the park - beautiful dahlias pictured below per her recommendation! :)

Had a great time with simply just a rental, Frankie was super accomidating and helpful especially for those new around the area. Rated are fair and the bike batteries last for more than enough time. Even helped me store some of my things after my bike rental was over since we wanted to explore other areas and we parked nearby. Would definately come again

We really enjoyed the Ultimate Guided Tour with Eli, he was super knowledgeable on all things SF! Loved learning about the history of the city. We got to see and learn so much that we probably would have never come across ourselves. The e-bikes were a must, we were able to get up any steep slopes without an issue! Super fun to cruise around on :)

Great experience with Dandy Horse. A few highlights: • Booking was easy. They gave me a heads up that bikes were almost sold out so I reserved early. • Pick up was quick. Waivers signed, helmets included, short intro, and we were on our way. • Bikes came with phone holders, bottle holders, baskets, and back seats that worked perfectly for our kids (4 and 6). • Heavier riders will burn the battery a bit quicker but we still had plenty of range for a full day. • On the second day one bike had a low battery. They swapped it out right away and we were back riding in minutes. • Their maps through the Ride with GPS app were excellent. Easy routes to the Golden Gate, Sausalito, and the Wharf with fewer hills than you’d expect in San Francisco. Overall, super accommodating staff, solid bikes, and family friendly routes. We’ll rent from them again next time.

Fantastic bikes and service. We had an excellent time biking around for hours on ebikes. The bikes were high quality and set up super well - much better than the city bikes. Jay was super helpful getting us set up and recommending things to see along our route.

I never post reviews but I’m totally doing it for Dandyhorse and John, our amazing guide! My 12 year old and I were taking a girls trip to San Fran. I love history and she loves biking. We combined the two for the most fun few hours of exploring the city! The Rad bikes were rad, as was John, who entertained all my housing and political questions! It was our favorite part of the trip and we had a lot of amazing fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone able to ride an e-bike and ready for a great adventure!
