We had a great experience renting from Dandyhorse! Jay was super helpful in getting us fitted in our bikes and helping to set up navigation for the tour and answering questions. Not to mention the location was perfect!

We had a great experience renting e-bikes from Dandyhorse. We rented three bikes and had a great day! Jay gave each bike a quick test run and gave us a tutorial to make sure we were comfortable taking them out for the day. We are locals but he also offered us maps, recommendations for the bike route, and recommendations for neighborhood spots post ride. Great spot!

We rented bikes today. Although we really enjoyed our ride and the route itself was great, we were not completely satisfied with the experience. After about half an hour of cycling, we wanted to stop to see something, but unfortunately the lock didn’t work, the wrong key had been given to us. We had to ride all the way back (about 30 minutes) to get it sorted before continuing our trip. That took quite a bit of time out of our day. Also, the battery on one of the bikes didn’t seem very strong, or perhaps it hadn’t been fully charged. One of the bikes ran low much faster than the other, which made the final few uphill kilometers quite stressful with only one blinking bar left, while the other still had three bars remaining. We had asked beforehand whether the battery would last for our planned route and were told it would be no problem, but unfortunately that wasn’t really the case.

We had an amazing e-bike tour in San Francisco! Nick was the perfect guide — knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly engaging from start to finish. He showed us the city’s highlights as well as hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. The ride was smooth, the views were unforgettable, and Nick’s energy made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

We really loved this place! Frankie was super friendly, very helpful, and gave us great tips on easier, less busy routes and local spots to eat. The bikes were in great condition, tires fully pumped, chains smooth, and the lock and helmets included. The rental price was fair, and we appreciated that they offered free Wi-Fi and downloadable route maps. Highly recommend!

We rented e-bikes for our family — one for me with my 3-year-old in a baby seat and another for my husband with our 6-year-old. Frankie was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable, professional, and super thorough, but also so warm and friendly with our kids. She took the time to make sure everything was set up perfectly and even shared great local tips that made our ride extra special. The bikes were top-notch — high quality, very comfortable, and felt incredibly safe. It ended up being one of the highlights of our San Francisco trip. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

We rented bikes today for 2 hours and ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Frankie was amazing. She helped us get set up and gave us options for our ride. When we got back she even gave us an amazing suggestion for dinner and dessert as we were in SF for our anniversary. We had a great time.
