Celebrating my daughter’s 12th birthday in SF, and we rented e-bikes for an amazing trip through Golden Gate Park, Land’s End, GG Bridge, and Presidio. Prices were right, bikes were awesome, and Frankie was an absolute gem. Gave us tips on routes, places to eat, and things a 12-year-old would dig in the city. Incredible customer service! We will be back next time we are in town.

I rented a cargo e-bike from Dandyhorse for a 2 hour jaunt with my daughter through Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach. Jay had our bike charged up, tuned up and ready to go when we got there, and was also helpful in setting us up with the Ride with GPS app which gave us access to their bike route maps and directions. The bike was in great condition, easy to use, and we had a blast.

Jay was amazing. He went the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure we were set up for a glorious ride in San Francisco. Bike fitting, safety items, plus all the little details that made up excellent, friendly customer service and local charm. (As a local, I can tell you that Dandyhorse is the best of the best when it comes to bike and e-bike rentals.)

We had so much fun with our e-bikes! Frankie was so friendly and super helpful getting us oriented to the bikes and set up with the navigation app. If you are a tourist and want to do a longer day ride, I highly recommend the bikes at Dandyhorse. They had really good power going up the hills and even handled well off-road, like on bumpy dirt paths or on grass. We even took ours across the Golden Gate Bridge :) We did about 20 miles total and we all felt grateful that we had gone with the nicer/sturdier bikes through Dandyhorse rather than trying to do it with the city bikes you can rent off the street.

So much fun. Incredible beauty and I learned so much about San Francisco history! At 60 years old, I had never ridden an e-bike and it was no problem at all. Just lots of fun. I felt safe and well guided by Eli who clearly loves his city and knows so much history that he unfolds in ways that are very interesting and memorable. What are you waiting for??

This was the best tour of SF I have ever experienced! Eli’s knowledge of all the history was astounding and made the tour even more enjoyable than the amazing views. Our group was so lucky to have the perfect weather and conditions. I can’t wait to return and bring more friends with me next time. I would encourage anyone coming (or even living in SF) to take this tour—you won’t regret it but make sure to ask for Eli!

We were immediately greeted by Frankie, who was incredibly friendly and went far beyond what anyone could expect. She shared all the best local spots, suggested great routes based on the time we had, and made sure we felt completely comfortable before heading out. Frankie was exceptionally accommodating and genuinely cared about making our day as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Absolutely 10 stars for Frankie for delivering outstanding service and making our experience unforgettable! Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!

I had a great experience with Eli as a guide. The tour was very smooth, main points to appreciate the city iconic places and opportunity for photos. The pastry stop was delicious 🍩 at Bob's Bakery. Totally recommend!
