Unfortunately, this food tour was not a good experience. The tour felt very rushed, and there was little time to actually enjoy the food or learn about Icelandic culture. At one point, the tour guide left my friend and me behind, and we were only reunited because other tour members noticed and came back for us. The guide also became visibly upset and threw a tantrum over not having a seat in the middle, which made the experience uncomfortable for the group. Overall, we didn’t learn much about Iceland. Most of the commentary focused on the tour guide himself rather than the history, culture, or food. I would not recommend this tour.

Reykjavik tour

We had a great 3.5 hr tour with Einar. He is very talented, sang for us a few times, and loves the Folklore and history of Iceland. Very entertaing tour.

This was so fun! We stopped at a local bar for a drink and chat with the group, had a front row seat to the best firework show, and our guide was friendly, funny, and so lovely.

Our tour guide Paul was fabulous. Friendly and really informative about the city and country. He answered everything we wanted to know and more. Guests should ask lots of questions and be open to trying the food. You get little bits of a lot, including pastries and appetizers.

Great City Overview

A great start to my trip. Düi was a great guide. You could tell that he loves what he's doing and wants to share but the history and city with you. We got to see many sites and hear stories along the way. Also, following the tour, I received recommendations and a cookbook. What s nice extra touch. I recommend!

Unprofessional! We booked the bonfire tour and no one picked us up even though the exact pick up location and time was specified on the ticket. We waited for 1h, tried calling, WhatsApp, and via e-mail. No one tried contacting us either. We've not had this kind of unprofessionalism in years. Truly disappointing especially that no one could be reached or tried to reach us.

I had a great time doing the Christmas food walking tour with Óli! We visited a couple of nice places and he told a lot about the Christmas traditions in Iceland. He also took some nice pictures and I even got to taste the traditional Christmas drink Jólaöl. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic experience on the food walking tour of Reykjavik with our guide Palli. He was knowledgable and entertaining and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We tasted some amazing Icelandic delicacies and really learned a lot. Highly recommended.
