Well organised good value tour
A well organised relaxed day visiting Murano and Burano. Claudia was very knowledgeable, we had a great day ! The glass blowing demonstration in Murano was very interesting and Burano was a pretty and colourful island with a nice relaxed vibe. The tour was good valur

The tour consists of 4...
The tour consists of 4 parts - visit to the basilica, visit to Doge’s Palace, a gondola ride and a VR experience. We only ended up doing the first three and all were well worth the time and very enjoyable - although it took longer and there was no ‘skipping’ lines. Our biggest issues is that although advertised as ‘skip the line’ we actually spent almost 40 minutes in line at the Doge’s and it resulted in the tour being rushed and limited time inside. We finished late and had to rush from the Doge to the gondola after seeing some portions selected by the guide, so missed seeing the prisons. Others in our tour needed to leave to make other commitments so don’t book anything too soon after. Although advertised as just a few hours, it was really more like 4-5 when all was done and that was after we skipped the VR portion and didn’t get to see as much of the Doge’s or Basilica as we would of liked. Our guide Isabella was great but I could see she was flustered by the lines/extension of the timing. When we asked about the line at the Doge she basically told us if we were lucky we would get selected to go in a different door, that isn’t what I would consider skip the line. The gondola was nice and well organised. The host, Sara, escorted us to the departure point and kept us well informed and shared some interesting info on the way. While it was enjoyable, I would consider visit the basilica and doge in one day and then arranging the gondola separately if time allows to give more time to enjoy them.

Not to be Missed!
Absolutely wonderful experience---and something different. Giorgio was friendly and engaging---shared interesting historical info about Venice and the tradition of mask-making as well as about his own personal connection to the city (his family has been there for centuries.) Cozy, peaceful atmosphere in which to paint away. In the end, Giorgio spun his masterful magic, adding the finishing touches to our pieces and transforming them into little works of art. Can’t wait to return. Would love to do this again.

Less than special.
We were a bit late for our reservation but they did accommodate us - after we exited in line for an extra 15 minutes. The actual ride was only 20 minutes long and the “driver” did not give us a commentary at all. We were supposed to have English commentary. When I stopped back at the office to tell them they blamed it on me being late. Oh well, would not recommend!!

Meeting site is a moving target / overpriced compared to picking up a trip at a local location. Was not English only
It’s a “pop up” stand that was not mentioned so we were looking around and bugging other shops which explains why the locals were not happy with people asking where the meeting site was actually located. We signed up for English only and had Spanish/English which most of the tour was done in Spanish that we just tuned them out and stopped paying attention. Also, overpriced as we could have just grabbed a ride for far less price and personal group focused. Save your money and just book a ride when you arrive

from the meeting point our guide was awesome! Once we boarded the boat, we had a different guide, and he did not acknowledge any of us. The only comments he made were to sit back and don't lean, rudely.
