Dissapointing, not quite what we expected

Initially we were allocated to a gondola with audio guides provided from a central place, not on the Gondola. When I went back and asked as our tickets clearly stated Live Commentary, we were moved to a different Gondola. The live commentary was non- existent. There was nothing between us setting off and 2 mins before we disembarked. Disappointing as we were expecting to hear details along the journey, which we didn't...it was just a ride.

Pas de romantisme juste du commerce

Nous choisissons cette activité avec un guide en français, nous pensions que c’était la personne du bateau qui allait nous accompagner et qui allait nous parler un peu de ses quartiers. Ce n’est pas du tout cela. En fait le guide qui nous reçoit nous accompagnent pendant 10 minutes dans la ville pour nous expliquer l’histoire des gondoles. une fois sur la gondole, la personne ne parle pas du tout. Et pire encore ils font des groupes. Ainsi nous sommes quatre au lieu de deux sur les bateaux comment vous dire aucun romantisme Surtout que si vous ne réservez pas par là le prix est le même et vous choisissez là vous voulez partir. Toutes les consoles se suivaient à la queue leu leu. Nous avons fait à peine le tour d’un quartier et nous étions ultra déçu car on se baladant non Venise. Nous arriverons vu énormément de gens faire des tours de gondole seul et avec des choix de destination différentes. Nous sommes même pas passés en dessous du pont des soupirs

Esperienza fantastica, super consigliata!!!

Questo weekend io e la mia famiglia abbiamo partecipato a questo meraviglioso tour in barca. La nostra guida Francesco ci ha prelevato di fronte all’agenzia turistica per poi portarci fino alla barca. Si è dimostrato fin da subito gentile e disponibile a rispondere a tutte le nostre domande. La prima tappa é stata nell’isola di Murano dove abbiamo potuto assistere alla lavorazione del vetro, un’esperienza indimenticabile, a cui é seguito un giro nel negozio (Durante la lavorazione é possibile fare foto e video). Siamo poi partiti verso Burano, un’isola incantevole piena di casette colorate. Francesco ci ha suggerito un ristorante proprio nel centro di Burano in cui mangiare e dove abbiamo assaggiato dei tipici piatti di pesce. L’esperienza in sé é stata piacevole, sicura e formativa, poiché ci ha permesso di scoprire molti storie della cultura veneziana. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!

Time management dissapointment

Both islands are worth visiting. Unfortunately, the boat they used was so slow that 2 1/2 hours of the 5 hour tour was used up in the boat rides to these islands. A water taxi boat could get there in 1/3 the time leaving more time to browse. Additionally, we had a fill in guide who didn't know a lot about the islands or how to conduct a tour.

Skipping the lines is a...

Skipping the lines is a must for these tours in the summer. Guides are very knowledgeable. The speaker system is sometimes difficult to hear clearly.

Guía amable, pésimo tour

La guía muy amable, el tour es pésimo. Superstamente es un recorrido de 1 hora, pero en realidad el tour en Gondola dura menos de 30 minutos en completo silencio en realidad no es un tour. La otra parte la da la guía, una mujer que se esfuerza mucho por tratar de explicar Venecia también en menos de 30 minutos, pero termina siendo muy superficial.

Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this quick tour. Easy to find the location from our hotel. The guide gave us some good pointers about the history of Venice and the gondola ride was pleasant. Only four of us on there. Highly recommend if you want to do a quick excursion so you still have time to explore the city.

Unfortunately, disappointed

I was pretty disappointed. I have never written a negative review, but I feel I have to. My gondola ride was supposed to be 30 minutes and it was exactly 20 minutes. That is a whole 1/3 of my trip shortened. The gondolier did not speak to us once which was ok, but for the entire ride he yelled out conversations to the other gondoliers. We were taken through one loop with no views. These excursions are expensive, and I expected better.
