We felt a little scummed compared to the description. There was no commentary during the gondola ride. Our guide led us to the gondola station with some general information about the history of Venice and after we embarked in the gondola the audio guide that was provided to us went completely silent. The same thing happened to the people sharing the ride with us so it wasn’t just our devices. The gondolier provided no information. Moreover the ride was about 15-20’ rather than 30’ as promised. A disappointment.

This was our kids favorite activity in Venice and a great memory to share together. However I would make the meeting point a bit clearer to indicate that it occurs on the 1st floor as a few families were waiting outside the doors of the meeting point.

It was rather disappointing as there was no atmosphere only bare rooms and lots of people milling around. Which is to be expected however the lack of toilet facilities was not expected and is a disgrace considering the amount of people coming to view the palace every day.

Long enough gondola ride. My wife and I expected to be alone in gondola but we had three others with us on same ride. The pic on website is misleading.

Our guide was very nice and extremely knowledgeable on the history of Venice, but too much of the information was given standing outside. The St Marks portion of the tour was far to brief inside (we did one loop of the main floor walkway and did not go upstairs or near the remains). Doge was similar and the tour ended with us being left to tour the prisión and second half of the palace on our own after the guided tour time ended. The tour of the 2 locations lasted 2 hours but we could have seen much more on our own in that same time if we had picked skip the line passes only.
