**Shared Gondola Experience!

Very misleading. My husband and I had to share the gondola with 3 other people. The audio didn't work. HIRE A PRIVATE ONE INSTEAD!

Poor audio and incomplete tour

Despite downloading the app, I never could biggie. Basilica tour and map to download. I had to share earbuds with my friend. The audio tour was not what I was expecting. I've tour St. Mark's before and learned about all the scenes on the ceiling, the side chapels and altar, but very little of this detail was given in this audio. Finally, I had no idea this tour didn't include the gold altar and loggia. Maybe that's my fault, but it was disappointing.

Saint Mark's Basilica tour

Our tourguide Ms. Valentina given us very good explanation and guide for our trip. Many story shared from her for the church Saint Mark's Basilica we visit.

Toller Trip mit Boot nach Murano und Burano mit reizender Fremdenführerin!

Ein wunderbarer Ausflug mit einer charmanten guide! Dauerte länger als erwartet! Etwa 4 einhalb Stunden! Die junge ,Fremdenführerin‘ war auf Englisch mit viel Begeisterung,Freundlichkeit,Hilfsbereitschaft und Fachwissen an der Arbeit! Schön zu sehen, wie jemand sein Job Spaß macht! Auf Murano durften wir einer beeindruckenden Demonstration der berühmten Glasbläserkunst beiwohnen und auf Burano gings in Geschäfte mit Lokalkolorit! Einmal Stickerei-Produkte und einmal spezielle Backwaren! Auf den beiden Inseln gab‘s jeweils etwa 1 Stunde zur freien Verfügung bzw. Erkundung!

Muy bueno!

Estuvo todo muy bueno, primero nuestra guía Georgia ha sido estupenda, un buen trato y excelente comunicación. La Góndola estuvo muy corta pero resto estuvo todo el paseo muy bien. Recomendado.

Pick a different operator

The best part of this tour was that it allowed us to skip the line. That’s where the good parts end. We arrived at the tour operator early as requested, only to learn our guide hadn’t yet arrived. They had us go to the virtual reality section which could have been more interesting if they had working fans in the tiny, hot rooms they had us in. One member of our tour was upset by the delay we experienced, only for the tour operator to say “it’s not our fault.” It absolutely was the operator’s fault they didn’t have a guide on time. We then met the guide outside the cathedral. I had on a sleeveless dress with a shirt in my bag and he looked at me and said “no way you get in like that.” I would have expected for the extra 30+ minutes we spent at the tour operator office waiting for a guide, someone there may have said “hey just want to make sure you know you need your shoulders covered.” They did not and the screeners at the cathedral were turning women away who weren’t properly dressed. The guide honed in on a group member from Istanbul and proceeded to only talk in comparisons to Istanbul for most of the “tour.” It very abruptly ended when the guide said “ok who only has the cathedral tickets?” and took our listening devices and left with the poor souls who were stuck with him for Doge’s Palace. We had gone back and forth between booking with the same tour operator or going with 2 different ones. I’m SO glad we opted for different ones as our experience at Doge’s Palace was spectacular. The same cannot be said for the cathedral.
