It was a little bit quick and slightly disorganized at the end, but delivered a fun little ride. Would recommend for someone who just wants a quick taste of the canals.

It was a lovely experience overall. BUT the actual guide was very brief - the gondola ride had no commentary at all which was disappointing although it was pleasant enough. Had hoped for some facts from the gondolier on the way round

The gondolier never said a word to us, so there was no live commentary, which we paid for.

Good and kind guide (a woman), that accompanies us only for the Doge’s palace. We visit then alone the prisons plus the bridge of sighs without guide (indeed it wasn’t that necessary actually to have guide at those places). The Correr Museum with the Library and Archaeological Museum in it are without guide (as written too) and are from the opposite side of the Doge’s palace. Both are in the San Marco Piazza. Price is too high for all this; the only point is to avoid the long lines in the sun plus some guide that helps and makes your visit faster and understandable. At least if there was guide for the Correr and everything else inside, the price would be kinda acceptable, but everything is already expensive, so ok..

Our gondolier was in training and crashed into walls, boats and other gondolas on the trip. The canals were overcrowded and the experience you expect to have in movies is completely different. Disappointing.
