When one stumbles upon oppourtunities to discover insight and history upon their travels, it should be siezed as if it were gold. If you are in Rome, you'd be foolish not to immediately head on a bike tour around the city with this group. I was fortunate enough to book a tour with Marco, who guided me safely around a city he was quite clearly in love with. With a smile and welcoming embrace, he begun the tour by establishing a unique and modern perspective before embarking on an extremely engaging journey through the stories within some of Rome's spectacular landmarks. With Marco's depth of knowledge, it is as if he lifted a veil from Rome, somehow making a beautiful city even more divine. In his mission to host the most intimate tour possible, Marco succeeds. Ive learned that in Rome I stand amongst thousands of years of history - a place rich with culture and stories. The team at fat tire tours deserve to be the first people anyone goes to see in Rome. My wife and I had an electric bike tour with Zac. Zac was very attentive to the bike pace and making sure the bike functioned well. He was quite knowledgeable of the areas we visited. I believe we rode through the Gaslamp district, Little Italy, up Banker’s Hill, through Balboa Park, and probably other neighborhoods. It was a great way to see parts of San Diego for the 1st time.

Zach T was a great tour guide. He took us all over town and showed us some great places to eat! My bike and my husbands bike had some break issues where they made loud screeching noises and then toward the end started making some weird bubbling noises, but they still stopped us just fine. We had a great time on this trip and Zach even took longer on the tour then advertised so we could see everything. I would recommend this for any traveler!

This was a really great bike tour. The bikes were in good condition. The guide Dan has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Central Park where the tour took place. He has a music speaker with him and illustrates parts of the tour with the appropriate music . We toured in January when the wind chill has marked but the tour ran for the full advertised time of two hours. Highly recommended.

We arrived a little before 10:00 AM for the French-language tour and were told there wasn't one available, but in reality, there wasn't one in Spanish either. Only English. Since we weren't interested in that, we were still able to rent a bike for a self-guided tour. The receptionist was neither pleasant nor helpful; we almost felt like we were bothering her. She told us there were no more electric bikes... Well, once again, we had no choice... We completed our tour without any problems, and returning the bikes was done quickly, without even a goodbye from the staff, and they simply "dropped" the bikes off on other people nearby. On arrive un peu avant 10h pour la visite en français on nous dit qu'il n'y a pas en français mais en réalité il n'y avait pas non plus en espagnol. Juste en Anglais. Comme cela ne nous intéressait pas on a pu tout de même avoir un vélo en visite par soi même. La personne de l'accueil n'a pas du tout été agréable ni bienveillante, nous avions presque le sentiment de la déranger. Elle nous a dit qu'il n'y avait plus de vélos électriques... Bon encore une fois pas le choix... Nous avons fait notre tour sans problèmes et le retour des vélos a été fait rapidement même ps de au revoir de la part du personnel et ils ont "lâchés les vélos" sur les autres proche de là. Bref je ne recommande pas compte tenu de l'amabilité de certains.
