After having made reservations (and paid) for a tandem bike, we waited in line at the rental facility for over an hour. When we finally got to the desk, they had already rented out their tandems and also all of their other bikes. They didn't offer any compensation and said that they could only give us a refund. We paid for the bike up front, but the bikes were simply given to other tourists on the spot. We lost a lot of time from our day in San Francisco and ended up with nothing, very unprofessional!

We had the BEST time on our Unlimited Biking tour! John was an AWESOME guide and very accommodating !! He had a great spirit about him and his knowledge of San Francisco is very cool- lots of off the beaten path stuff you wouldn’t expect !! You definitely want to do THIS tour!!!

Nice guys, but one of our bikes needed tuned. We were leaving town, so we only cared about the next rider. I kindly mentioned the low gear was way off the shifter link, he kinda blew it off. Then I said, it really needed tuned. He said, yay some of them do that. I told him the same model other bike was fine, so I just needed tuned. He gave me my card back, then I realized he just stacked the bike with the rest. I mention it again as we left, he didn’t seem to care.

Crossing across the Golden Gate Bridge by bicycles with my daughter had been on my bucket list, and I feel so grateful that it really happened this summer! The tour guide was very knowledgeable about San Francisco, and he was nice and considerate. Thank you so much for all the help. We had a great time and it was the best experience during our visit to this amazing city, San Francisco!

The folks here are superb in their customer service. Their selection is huge. If you need electric bikes, do reserve ahead as walkins may be out of luck. Highly recommend. Dr K

Booking: easy, quick, no problems. Bikes: good condition, all sizes available, fun colors. Customer service-specific location: friendly man Customer service-company: definitely lacking!!! Details: We were visiting SF for first time, and travel guide books discussed the joy of biking over the Golden Gate Bridge. This was THE REASON we rented bikes. Upon arriving, we quickly determined that it was NOT feasible for our family (didn’t feel safe or capable to accomplish this). We requested a refund, which was NOT granted. We were repeatedly told your company requires a 24 hr notice to cancel. 24 hrs prior to our reservation, we weren’t even IN SF to make that assessment. We arrived literally the night before and realized that due to excitement of what was discussed in guide books, we had bitten off more than we could safely & realistically chew. The very next morning we arrived for our reservation to honestly discuss this, but your company cared more about the arbitrary 24 hour policy than decent customer service. Since we wouldn’t get our money back, we took the bikes for a couple of hours to explore the Golden Gate Park, which was ok (tried to make lemonade out of lemons), but definitely not the experience we desired.

The only thing that saves this experience was the shop staff, Victor. Well that and the outdoor time on a bike. I booked 3 bikes (and I also referred my 2 friends to book same time on a separate reso). I understood the cancellation policy of 24 hours prior to the date for a refund. One of my party tested positive for COVID so I had to cancel for them 23.5 hours prior to our date. My fault I missed the 24 hours. Again, I understood the policy that I would only receive a credit. But I was told that I would be able to use or transfer that credit as I wanted. A credit that I have no evidence of even having. No receipt. No email. Just their word but okay. My issue is that I could not apply that credit toward bike insurance when we arrived, nor could I transfer it to another party there at the shop. Yes, I’d rather give my $70 credit to a complete stranger rather then have a credit just sitting there that I will never be able to use. I was told it needed time to process but I’d be able to use it once that occurred. But yet, my payment could be immediately processed?? 1. That does not help me if I do not live in state. 2. Why would I patronize this business again knowing this policy? 3. Why would I patronize this business when one of our bikes was the wrong size from the one we reserved, another bike was at 40% battery, and another bike was so beat up it kept erroring out and the reader kept falling off rendering the pedal assist useless? Luckily we do bike and laughed it off powering up the killer hills. But like I said in the beginning, Victor did his best to get us going and almost nothing stops a great time outdoors on a couple of bikes (no matter the condition). Definitely do the biking just be aware of policies, know that bikes do get beat up and you need to ensure what you’re receiving or you may have to just roll with it.

Awesome! We rented 2 adult and 2 kids bikes for 4 hours and had a blast riding all over Golden Gate Park! Mike was super helpful and made the whole process easy. They only thing we would do differently next time is rent the bikes for the whole day!

First of all, be aware that “hybrid bikes” actually mean regular bikes (it came as quite a surprise for me). We had 2 regular bikes which were quite good (light weight and all) so that’s definitely not why I am only giving 3 stars.What really bothered us was that the man who gave us the bikes was acting like he didn’t want us there telling us that his map was no good but that we would figure out the way to sausalito on our own, stressing us out with potential thefts etc.. He insisted on the fact that we shouldn’t leave the bikes out of our sight and was not helpful at all… So overall: good bikes but poor service. And by the way, the code to the lock is the SAME for all unlimited biking bikes ….. no wonder they can be easily stolen …..

We have rented bicycles at several places all over the world, this was the worst. Checkout was very unfriendly, employee has treated us like stupids. Next time we'll chose for an other company

The bikes were in great condition. A bit pricey, but actually lower price than some surrounding shops. We rented one hybrid and one electric. The electric held it's charge well, and we were able to do almost 50km without running low on battery power. I did turn the assist off when not needed and only used the highest level of assist when absolutely necessary (according to my legs!) Right next to the bike path that leads to the Golden Gate Bridge

I rented a hybrid bike here, reasonable pricing at $8/hr, nice bike in okay shape, a couple of the gears were a little bit off but beyond that bike was in good shape. The person was friendly and quick, same day reservation wasn't an issue. I will say, the hills in SF are pretty serious so if you're new to the area consider paying the extra for the e-bike.

We were late by 5 minutes and they charged us for a whole hour extra for all 3 bikes. If you rent from here, you’ll be stressed on your way back because if you’re late by even 1 minute it will cost you a lot. No common courtesy, no focus on customer experience, it’s all about the $$ here. Editing to reply to owner : Wow, you say that’s absolutely not the case when it literally happened to me today. My rental start time was 1:30 and return time was 4:35. Your employee flat out said there was nothing he could do when I asked why we were getting charged an hour’s rate for 5 minutes. Please check with your employee before making such statements.
