Bikes were nice. The biking over Golden Gate Bridge was amazing. We had cannandale women and mens bike. If I had to do it all over I would reserve the EBike to assist with all the uphill riding to get to the bridge. The owner was late in opening the doors because her only help was late. Did not understand while waiting for her help to finally show up. Check you customers in so we only need to get bikes helmets and a lock. Being proactive in a situation like that would have been helpful. Instead she does not check in customers and sits inside doing nothing but waiting. Frustrating to say the least.

We had such a great experience with Unlimited Biking and seeing San Francisco. We didn’t make the decision to bike the city until the morning of, but what a great choice it was! The bikes were really high quality Cannondales, which were complimented on several times by “real” bikers before they realized they were rentals. Sodig did a killer job helping us figure out what we needed and where to go, and we were able to do a little extra site seeing before turning the bikes back in. The touristy parts of San Francisco are very bike friendly. This was the highlight of our trip! We recommend going early to Sausalito to check out that side of the bay, taking the ferry back (we took the ferry to the ferry terminal, not pier 42 next to the shop) and biking over to pier 39 to have lunch at chowders.

Their road bike popped a tube on a simple ride up Hawk Hill. They said they couldn't come help me in any form and left me to walk back 5+ miles and hike up half a mountain to return the bike, even though I purchased insurance. They then refused to refund this catastrophe even after an hour+ of calls and 3+ emails to customer service. Writing my first Google review for this because it really was that awful. Rent anywhere else.

Useless, booked two days in advanced four e-bikes, when we arrived we had to stand in line 45min with people who hadn’t booked, when it was our turn there were no e-bikes available anymore! Then it took us three weeks of emailing to get a refund… great thx!!

very disappointing one of our bikes brake (tube) and we got only the advise per phone 1) to search for a bike shop nearby who repairs the bike or 2) go with Uber with the bike back to the Unlimited Bike facility - but no Uber took the bike with the car, we tried several. Also the batteries of the bikes were in a very bad shape, after 3hrs all were empty.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I would recommend using a different company as there are many other companies in san fransisco. this is why: roughly 8 weeks ago we booked to use 3 electric bikes from the haights street store through the company’s website, we were really looking forward to using our e-bikes all day cycling over the golden gate bridge and having time to explore the city and parks. we had booked to pick up our bikes at 10am and at 9.45 our phone rang to say there were only 2 bikes. apparently they only ever have 2 bikes in stock and they often hire out 3 and this is a recurring problem. Had they emailed just a week earlier we would have had time to book with a different company. at the shop the store clerk showed no interest in helping us, he was not engaged or apologetic. He also did not show us how to use the bikes at all including the gears or the motor of the e-bikes we do have. this really ruined our day as we were planning on going quickly around but instead we had to wait for eachother. the entire day was highly stressful and eventually we dropped the bikes off at the fisherman’s ward store. the only saving grace of the day was victor. he was extremely and helpful and lovely despite our less than pleased attitude although he did mention this has happened before. the company is poorly organised and to promise to have bikes for tourists who have travelled a long way and only have a few days in the city and then they do not deliver. This their day more stressful is just not good enough.

Friendly service. We rented bikes to bike around Golden gate Park, if you want to go around the park probably the parkwide biking would be better as they are right at the front of the park and You don't lose time going back and forth.
