Couldn’t put the baby on the tandem, just wish we had known. Otherwise it was a blast.

Last week me and my wife took a bike tour over the bridge with Bob. The tour was brilliant and bob is full of information about the bridge the area and the city in general. We sat and had a coffee where he gave us recommends and answered any questions we had about new york in any respect at all. A very helpful, cheerful and brilliant tour guide. I 100% recommend UB tours we also went back with these guys again for central park tour and ill leave the review of that also brilliant tour for that page. Thanks again Bob!

A very good way to tour Italy when you're short on time. Great explanations of the sights, and they are very good about explaining how to use the Segways.

I can recommend this rental. The bikes are in a very good condition! We rented two bikes (cannondale) with our NYC Explorer Pass. Fast check in and within a few minutes we started our tour to Brooklyn. It is the perfect starting point to cross over the Brooklyn bridge to discover Williamsburg, Bushwick, Red Hook and so on. A helmet and a lock were inclusive.

Unlimited Biking was very helpful. My wife and I rented bikes for two hours and toured Central Park. The bikes worked well and shifted smoothly. Overall I would recommend them especially since they are located so close to Central Park.

They have really nice bike rentals. Nice location where you can go to the Tribeca or the Hudson River or Brooklyn. You can get in and out in less then a minute. Reasonable pricing.

I wanted to rent a bike for a week, and the young man asked for my passport until I returned the bike - I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my passport in someone else’s possession and asked if I could leave a deposit. I was refused, so found another rental shop which did take a cash deposit.

An excellent tour and guide, despite multiple road closures due to demonstrations and police blockades. The pace was suitable for all levels, the time of year ideal in terms of street traffic and the guide truly knowledgeable. Would do again and would recommend (I landed from Cape Town and did the tour same day, it was the perfect way to stretch legs!)

Price/quality was bad. Rented a bike for a day. Bike was constantly switching gears when not asking for it and not switching when I wanted it to switch. Company also demands you leave your ID. Besides risk of theft, it’s usually not allowed to leave your ID.

Bike and Roll is a great idea for a company and fulfills an important and healthy role within the District. But their execution and conduct, especially of the bike tour guides, is contemptible. Today, for the second or third time, I was involved in an exchange with an aggressive and confrontational guide while he was directing his tour to dangerously (and illegally) scatter and swerve through a busy pedestrian sidewalk in the DC Central Business District, where bicycles are not allowed to ride on the sidewalk. After the last time, I went to their office and discussed with their manager (nothing happened). Daily, those of us who live and work in the area walk on the pedestrian sidewalk along L'Enfant Plaza up the hill to go to lunch, and daily, the Bike and Roll tours use the same pedestrian walkway (going the wrong direction) to cause congestion, confusion, and hazards to the people on the walkway. The majority of this stretch is in the DC Central Business District (CBD), north of D Street SW, where bicycling on the sidewalk is illegal. This is dangerous and unnecessary, as the road itself is bicycle friendly, and very lightly trafficked; I know this because i'm a daily bike commuter. Today, making our way up the pedestrian walkway, the guide in front began frantically ringing his bell and shouting "coming through!" while groups of pedestrians were coming from both directions. We had nowhere to move out of the way (also why would we, when they're all going the wrong way in a place they're not supposed to be biking), so I said, as he was passing, that there's a perfectly good road right next to the sidewalk, to which, he turned and shouted something rudely in response as he biked away. Subsequently, his tour (not their fault) began swerving around us, dodging left and right, and when they bottlenecked and one actually crashed into the other, i said "you're going to get your people hurt, you dumbass!". The other guide, losing his temper, then got up in my face, and asked me if I had something to say; it seemed like a threat, and at the very least extremely unprofessional, and he accused me of using profanity among his teenagers (I used the word 'dumbass'). He escalated the situation and his body language seemed like he wanted to make it physical. Basically, this happens regularly, and until they stop using the pedestrian walkway, in the wrong direction, I will tell everyone I meet not to use this unprofessional company. I suggest Bike and Roll gets guides who know how to safely bike and lead a group, or teaches them what the heck they're doing.

Unlimited Biking was a fun bike rental shop to rent bikes to ride into Central Park. I am glad I chose to do the bike tour because the tour guide told the group so many things about New York City and Central Park that I would have never known. It was also fun talking to a real New Yorker along with all the other people taking the tour that were from all over the world. Also, as an avid cyclst, don't expect to get a workout but just have a fun ride. I was surprised to see that we rode Cannondale gravel grinding bikes with disc brakes. They were not race bikes but much better than I expected from a bike rental shop.

Great tour. Marco was fantastic. Full of great information. We were worried about rain so he supplied ponchos for everyone. Ended up a perfect day in Rome.
