We did the two hour Highlights of the Capital (or something like that) and had a great experience. Our guide Wally was great, he was extremely knowledgeable and interesting and he went out of his way to add a few extra stops than we were supposed to have which we really appreciated. We had been debating about whether it was worth the money for the guide or if we should just rent bikes and do a DIY and were so glad we opted for the guide, we felt it was well worth the $. I will add that while the booking was easy and the guide was great, the check-in process not so much. The guy at the desk we felt was not warm and friendly, and the check in seemed to take an unusually long time given that we had already paid and he didn't explain why (like, I'm sorry, the computer is slow today or something). We did appreciate the free water which we used!

My husband and I are used to rent bike when visiting a city, we thought it could be great to do a bike tour of Central Park but well… It could have been a wonderful experience if the bikes they rent wasn’t so damaged. The speeds on my bike didn’t works, worse as soon as I wanted to change a gear the chain was skipping. I had to fix it several time. I had to go all the way around Central Park stuck on the small gear and the hands full of grease.

We utilized Fat Tire Tours for the Versailles Bike Tour, and truly enjoyed it. Everything was exactly as described. Meet up was easy and straight forward. Tour was perfect for our family of four, including our young daughter who rode behind me on the bike “trailer.” (Make sure you reserve in advance as part of your booking). Easy bike ride without any serious hills or challenges. Our tour included train tickets from the Paris meetup location to Versailles and back, as well as tickets to Chateaux after the bike tour. The first stop on the tour included a visit to the daily Versailles open air market to select items for your mid-ride picnic lunch, and was a special unexpected bonus experience. I’m sure they are all great, but our guide Richard was specifically fantastic. Engaged with adults and children alike, answering questions and presenting the information in an approachable, enjoyable way. Definitely recommend the experience. Watch weather: if rain is in the forecast, wear a raincoat or acquire a poncho, as you’ll want to be dry for the Chateaux after the bike ride.

Our family (including 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed the evening monument bike tour! Highly recommend viewing the monuments at night, plus there were lower crowds. Easy biking. Comfortable bikes. Our guide told us just the "fun facts" and "interesting tidbits" about each monument which kept it interesting and from feeling like a history lecture.

We had so much fun with our all-day bike rentals in Paris. My wife and I rented 2 bikes plus a baby seat for our year and a half old son. We went to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe/Champs Elysee, the Bastille monument, and everything in between along the Seine. It was the most fun day of our trip to Paris. On top of it all, the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!
