Excellent introduction to Rome's historic center

This was an excellent tour to introduce ourselves to the historic center of Rome. The most amazing part for myself was entering inside the Pantheon (even on a Sunday when it is closed shortly for mass). Our guide, Mariana, was well spoken and easy to understand. The tour was as described and all communications were well made.

This tour was incredible and beyond our expectations. Renata was absolutely great and beyond what we expected. Because it was only the 2 of us she went beyond the time and gave us an extra hour which we weren’t expecting.

Fun and informative

Ludi, our tour guide was absolutely amazing! Not only did she give an excellent and informative tour, she answered all our questions about Florence while making the tour so fun! She felt like family by the end of the tour. I highly recommend Ludi as your guide. You won’t be disappointed!

Quick overview tour of 3 major historical areas

This tour was fast paced, but covered a lot of ground. It is difficult to cover the Forum, Palatine, and Colosseum in only 3 hours, but it was done in a manner that did not feel so rushed. Our guide Enrica was able to engage the group with her story telling and clear explanations of the historical importance of each site. When the guided portion of the tour ended inside the Colosseum, we were given the option to exit with the guide or stay inside and explore on our own for as long as we like.

Awesome private tour with Francesco and Through Eternity Tours; great communication; professional and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Italy; Greece; Rome and the Vatican. Francesco was able to navigate the very large Jubilee crowds and provided an enjoyable and interesting tour. We learned so much more and enjoyed a stress free tour of the Vatican museum; Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica! Highly recommended if you need to maximize your time and want to learn a lot at the same time.

Coliseum tour

Our guide was very good as he lined out the time line of Rome’s progression. Was pleasantly surprised by the Palatine Hill portion and the Colliseum was the obvious highlight.

A fantastic experience due to a fantastic guide!!

Our tour of the Forum and Coliseum with Marta were both fantastic. She connects well with her tour guests and has an incredible amount of knowledge. There is so much to learn about the history of Rome and Marta shared it with us verbally, in pictures on a tablet, and by pointing out specific things that we would have missed otherwise.

Cincha is the best tour guide. She is organized, animated, passionate, thoughtful, articulate, and erudite. She frequently went out of her way to answer extra questions, stayed late to give us extra opportunities to walk through Holy doors at the Basilica. She did all of this with a smile and keeping the group on pace.

Our tour guide (Cinse, sp?) was truly phenomenal. Her depth of knowledge was staggering and the ease with which she navigated us through the tour was impressive. It’s a long tour folks, but she made it engaging and ensured it flowed very nicely. She knew all of the best spots in each area, took photos of people when the opportunity allowed, and was very pleasant. I highly recommend this tour. *My poor photos are no reflection on the tour.

We went on the Caravaggio Tour. Tatiana was fantastic. Very informative and did a great job explaining Caravaggio in terms I could understand.

It was an easy guided tour through several rooms of the museum, Sistine Chapel, and entrance into the basilica. It was during the jubilee and the crowds were there in full force.
