Wonderful afternoon at the Capitoline Museums
Marta was incredibly knowledgeable about the museum. She proceeded at a pace that was perfectly comfortable for us. Overall, a great experience and introduction to this massive museum.

Fantastic tour with Erica, very knowledgeable and natural with her information and expertise. Explaining the works of art in a relaxed a humorous manner was a pleasure to listen to. On the down side we were unsure if we we at the correct meeting point as there was no indication prior to the arrival of the guide, perhaps through eternity could have a flag or sign at the designated meeting place.

Get Your Name CORRECT on Your Tickets !!
I cannot comment on the tour, as we were not allowed in, as one of the ladies had a ticket with Patrick as the first name, instead of Patricia. For something as STUPID as that, we were denied entry. They company, Ultimate Italy, refused us a refund, and acted very incompetent when we attempted to correct the one ticket. They should have had a mechanism at their field office to straighten it out. They were also quite rude about it. I would NEVER use Ultimate Italy again.

Fabulous experience with a superb guide
Wonderful tour with Ricardo. This was a semi private tour but it turned out that we were the only participants so we had Ricardo to ourselves and he was outstanding. He has fabulous knowledge that he imparted in such an interesting way, we really enjoyed it, fascinating!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. We booked a semi-private tour but ended up being the only people in the tour. So it was just my wife and I with our guide. He was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the topics, the history, the region. Just a wealth of knowledge. He kept us engaged the entire time by asking questions while we walked from place to place. The three hours felt like the right amount of time. We weren't rushed and doing the tour in January it was not crazy crowded at the landmarks. It was worth the price that we paid and I would book it again.

Rome in a day? Do it this way.
If your going spend the money to get all they way to Rome do yourself a favor and spend a little extra to pay for a tour guide. Siriki was fantastic. We loved having him tell us all about the stops. Worth every penny. They also do great with add on extra like pick up from port, drop at hotel, and the hotel to airport transfers.

Well worth it and would book again

A message of encouragement to Canello.
Went on the Orange Group Tour, Jan. 13, 2026. Cannello (my spelling may be wrong) was the guide. The tour started generally pleasant enough. The tour seemed much less in depth than when we took it earlier in 2025 but not harm there. The guide seemed genuinely engaged. However at one point while in the underground, in the animal pens of the coliseum, he began on a political rant over Georgia Meloni. I know only a little of her politics but he did call her a fascist and said she was only nice while she was asleep. While he has every right, in my mind, to hold such beliefs and while I am not very engaged in Italian politics, it made us both a little uncomfortable as my wife and happily left the politics BS at home when we came here to house hunt. I can say I am pretty comfortable saying she is not a real fascist as the term gets thrown around way too often these days. He just doesn’t like her politics. Not sure how this was remotely related to Ancient Rome or the coliseum so maybe something he could have during other portions of his life. Message to Canello, you are in a business that attract all sorts… Also, if you are Catholic as we are, he is fairly judgmental about us as well.
