Exceptionally curated tour.
We had a wonderful tour with Guia who had fantastic knowledge of the history, architecture and art of the Vatican . With there being such an overwhelming number of treasures and masterpieces she curated the tour in such a way that provided relevance to the sights to come. Excellent contextualization of the art to the time and the history of the Vatican, popes and Italy. Thoroughly recommend the tour

Roberta was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide, and also very pleasant and helpful. She was considerate of my sore legs and my husband‘s poor hearing. We had a wonderful time and could have listened to her for another four hours.

Wonderful tour despite the rainy conditions!
The tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Donatella, helped us visualize the Roman Forum with the stories she told and pictures she showed us. The history was fascinating. We learned so much and a lot of the information was unexpected and painted the picture of life during that time. Donatella was very knowledgeable and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and our guide!!

En plus des grands sites comme les fontaines et les places, il nous a montré d'autres pépites plus confidentielles mais tout aussi intéressantes et essentielles pour la remise en contexte. A perfect evening introduction to Venice!
This evening walking tour was a perfect introduction to Venice! It was so beautiful at night to stroll into lesser known streets and navigate historic neighborhoods. Valentina was a graceful, kind and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend this tour.

7:35AM tour gets to Sistine Chapel at 10:30AM when packed with people wall to wall. No St. Peter Basilica Tour drop off
The advertising is deceptive. Leading you to believe that an early morning 7:35AM visit will get you into the Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive. The 7:35 AM tour got to the Sistine Chapel at 10:30AM and there wasn't even room to breathe. Wall to wall people. Also deceptively called tour of St. Peter's Basilica. They "escort", drop you off at St. Peter's Basilica to tour on your own since you didn't pay for the tour. Just awful deception!

Ask for Mrs. Monoco! She is fabulous, patient, knowledgeable about all things Rome. Perfect for first timers to Rome or someone who thinks they know it all. Trust me, she has so much incredible information to share. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a true gem!

More than Michelangelo
If you want more from your visit than “and there’s that Michelangelo” or “go shop there,” then sign up for this tour. Our guide, Omar, was not only insightful but actively engaging. The Uffizi, Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze, the Duomo, and the Arno were inteoduced in the context of art history, commerce, politics and fun facts about the players. We then enjoyed delicious Tuscan cuisine at a hidden gem of a trattoria (yes, it appealed to even the pickiest eaters and to locals longing for tastes of home!). Overall, this was the best cultural tour experience of our trip through Itsly.

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I were in Italy for our honeymoon and it was a dream. Our first excursion with them was at the Vatican for an express tour- amazing! The tour guide was funny and very informative, best way to learn and stay engaged. Then Ludi was our guide in Florence for “Florence at Twilight”, again absolutely amazing. Very informative and personable. We are grateful to have had such great guides and experiences with this team.

We went for the "Essential Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums & St. Peter's Basilica Semi-Private Tour" Our guide (Tom) was clearly knowledgeable and offered solid historical context, particularly when discussing the artistic tensions between Raphael and Michelangelo. However, the experience was undermined by a recurring use of dismissive humor and irony. Questions about artworks were occasionally brushed off, and several remarks reduced both the art and the setting to punchlines. In a place that holds profound historical and spiritual significance for many visitors, this tone felt out of place. Regardless of personal beliefs, basic cultural respect is non-negotiable. In any sacred space —whether a church, synagogue, or mosque— visitors are expected to observe a minimum level of reverence. Jokes or ironic remarks about rituals that hold deep meaning for others, especially while pilgrims are actively participating in Jubilee, are simply not appropriate. Aditional; the Whisper audio devices were functional but had noticeably really poor sound quality (pilot announcement no kidding) which detracted from the experience. Allowing Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones would significantly improve immersion.

Knowledgeable Tour
Took the Underground Coliseum Tour back in April and had an amazing time. Simona, our guide was fantastic and really knew her stuff. I had some background in Roman history so I asked her some curve balls and she really knew her stuff. She was very personable and the group we had was a small group and was able to walk around and get a sense of the grandeur of the Coliseum. Best way to see it, imo. Would recommend.
