Rude, abusive staff. I purchased a ticket as part of the package from Blazing Saddles, including the ferry ticket back to SF. Unfortunately due to the high winds on the boat, the ticket must have blown out of my hands and I realised upon leaving that I no longer had it. Despite showing the person on the door my proof of purchase he was verbally abusive (swearing), unhelpful and physically prevented me from leaving the boat without purchasing another ticket. I appreciate a lost ticket is ultimately my responsibility however there was no excuse for the incredibly poor treatment by the staff and a little bit of compassion (particularly given my proof of purchase) would have gone a long way. The ferry had around 200 people on it at the time of travel and enforcing the purchase of a new ticket from a paying customer was nothing but money-grabbing. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour that tainted an otherwise great day of cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge - they should be ashamed of themselves and I'd encourage anyone to take the alternative boats, I'll also be forwarding this review on to the bike rental company with a suggestion that they consider which company they partner with.

I was misled at the ticket counter. I wanted a ticket to go into Alcatraz and instead was sold a ticket to cruise around it. Extremely disappointed. Did not find out until half way through the cruise.

Highly recommend the sunset cruise but wear layers and something to cover up your ears it gets too windy even in the summer.

It does what it says on the tin. A 60min panoramic cruise of San Francisco’s main landmarks. A nice way to start your visit of the city in my opinion. Make sure to bring enough layers as it can get chilly on the outside deck.

The blue and gold boat tour was nice. It is much colder on the water, so wear layers! I enjoyed the tour, what gets 3 stars is because at the beginning before you get on the boat, a picture is taken of your party and you are given a QR code to download the pictures, this is free, however, at the end of the tour, you are bombarded by a team of people that have printed your pictures and want you to purchase them. They were very nice pictures, but I felt obligated to purchase this because otherwise, what would happen to my photos of myself and my family? I just felt that practice was a bit bold and overwhelming.

Overpriced ferry ride, we balked at the price of a round trip to Sausalito. Would have been almost 100 for a family of four. Not cool. Felt ripped off and didn't go.

We booked the Alcatraz Night Tour with SF Bay Cruise for February 15th, as seen in the picture below. Upon arriving for our cruise, we were told that we were actually scheduled on the February 14th cruise, and that they couldn't accommodate us. Apparently there was some miscommunication between the cruise company and the booking company. This cruise was intended as a birthday gift for me. I'm extremely disappointed that Blue & Gold Fleet didn't honour my tickets, despite me being there for the date & time listed on the tickets. The young lady in the booth was extremely rude, and started ignorantly repeating "I can't do anything else for you. Thank you.", before closing off her booth. We recorded this interaction. After showing all the evidence to my credit card company, they helped me get a full refund. That's the only positive that came out of this experience.
