Fabulous! Fun and educational

Had a fantastic time! Tammy gave us a tour of the historic center with lots of gossipy stories from the Porfiriana and the colonial days, interspersed with a lovely array of foods from a variety of locations. (Do NOT eat before this tour!!)

This is one of the best food tours, I've been on. Kiomi was very knowledgeable about the area of coyoacan and the gatronomical culture of the area. She really knows her neighborhood well as she does a great job in presenting the history as well.

What a beautiful introduction to Mexico City. I can't thank Tamara enough for her passion for food, knowledge of her citys history, and entertaining storytelling. The only disappointment was that we got so full that we couldn't finish our plates. Full belly's and big grins. Highly recommend.

Dana was an excellent tour guide! We visited many different food places and tried a lot of different authentic Mexican dishes and drinks. It was a great way to learn about the food and explore the old Central District of Mexico City.

Loads of food to try in this history city tour!

Our guide Daniela was accommodating, kind and cheerful throughout the tour. We chose the historic center food tour in Mexico City. The tour had a lot of food options so we definitely recommend you skip breakfast and keep your stomachs empty. The pickup location was easy to find and the walk around the city was not long or tiring. Daniela also stopped at many key locations to explain the historical buildings. You will have plenty of time to take pictures and the whole tour was relaxed. They also ensured that we felt safe when moving around.

A must if you want to experience a full range of it’s gastronomy

We had a great time with Miomi. She was a great resource in knowledge about foods of the region. We were looking to taste and learn and we definitely got what we were looking for. The selections of eateries were great and loved the diversity in the tastes. Our Mexican culture was very well represented in the tour and if you’re a first timer for authentic Mexican food but short on time, this is a great way to experience a broad range of tastes of central Mexico.

Eating your way through Mexico City is the way to go

We had a wonderful time eating our way through neighborhoods in Centro Historico. We visited 6 different, non- touristy, establishments, and had in total 9 entrees. The food was down home native food, very tasty, and in many cases, you cannot find on your own. What really made this food tour fantastic was our tour guide, Dana. She was absolutely wonderful in explaining the food and the history of the establishment. She even gave talks on historical sites along the tour route. Because of her knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly manner, this food tour was worth ever penny.
