Excellent walking food tour! Our guide, Kiomi, was very knowledgeable of the city and its history. She was also attentative to our group, making sure that we were staying together and was considerate to food allergies and preferences. The food was all delicious - we learned and ate a lot.

Interesting tour

Kiomi our guide was so knowledgeable. As learned a lot about the food and history of Mexico City. I’m only giving 4 as I did not care for most of the food. It was not user friendly and more on the exotic. The Roma tour was much better food wise. I also think that there could be smaller portions so that the price could go down. One can’t possible eat all of this food and I hate to waste.

There is a lot of food. Come hungry. It's all delicious, but we couldn't eat everything. Our guide, Kiomi, was excellent.

Great food tour highly recommend

I loved this food tour. We visited 7 places to try a wide variety of traditional Mexican foods. Akimba was an excellent guide. She walked reasonably and gave an interesting history of the area.

An unforgettable food tour experience!

This food tour exceeded all expectations! We got to taste a great variety of delicious Mexican food and drink, and our guide, Jimena, was absolutely amazing. She shared her knowledge with us in an engaging way and took us to hidden gems we would never have found on our own. It felt more like being out with a friend than on a guided tour, and the conversations along the way made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Great Food Tour!

I loved this food tour! It was the first one I have ever been on, and five hours seemed like it would a bit much. I was so wrong. Josett was wonderful at explaining the history of the food, and the variety was fantastic. I do not like seafood, so I was worried about that part of the tour. But even the seafood was delicious. The only thing I would change is to book the tour at the beginning of our stay, rather than at the end. But even so, I absolutely loved the experience.

Our tour guide Josette was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the history of her beautiful home town, Mexico City and shared her love of the delicious local cuisine. An explosion of flavours!

We only had a limited time in Mexico City at the beginning of our trip and decided to book a walking food tour. Our guide for the day was Joss, she was brilliant, not only did we learn about some of the history of Centro Historico part of Mexico City, but we were taken to try street food in all types of establishments. We tasted around 12 different dishes, visited an exotic food market where we could try bugs amongst other things… we stopped at vans on the road, a cantina and restaurants. It was a great way to learn about this part of the city and try local dishes. Not all were to my taste, but it was very enjoyable. We met some lovely people and took in the local culture. I would recommend this food tour. It is for everyone!!

Not bad but not a must do…

Experience was pretty good. Don’t think the group should be so large….prefer to cap it around 4 to 6 people for the price. Also one of the 6 taco places was closed so we were a little ripped off for what we paid and the experience promised. Also this is not really a walking tour. We rode a bus around to the different neighborhoods which was actually very convenient and comfortable. And the mezcal is not tasted throughout the tour but rather all at once at a single bar towards the end of the tour. Overall good experience but value for price was a little disappointing. However our guide Andres was excellent and attentive and we were really happy with his explanations and guidance.
