This tour focused on the finer points of what makes a good tortilla – and thus a great taco – whether it be wheat or corn. I had never tasted tacos this good, and appreciated learning what makes them that good. The mescal stop was excellent to understand that product, even better than the full day mescal tour we took in Oaxaca, but building on what we had learned there rather than on repeating it. Monserrat (our guide) and UIises (our driver) were both fluent in English, personable and helpful. The car was comfortable, and both dropped us off and picked us up very close to each stop.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Sabores Mexico Food Tours and our amazing guide, Tamara! Over the course of five hours, she led us through the vibrant heart of Mexico City's Centro Histórico, introducing us to hidden culinary gems we would never have found on our own. Tamara was not only knowledgeable and passionate about Mexican cuisine, but also full of captivating stories about the history, culture, and people that shape the city. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it really felt like we were exploring the city with a friend who knows all the best spots. Each stop on the tour offered something unique — from traditional bites to modern twists, everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. The variety was fantastic, and we appreciated how thoughtfully the tour was curated. Whether you're a foodie, a history buff, or just curious about Mexico City, this tour is a must — and if you're lucky enough to get Tamara as your guide, you're in for a treat! Great CDMX food tour!
Jimena is an amazing tour guide, she took us through different cafes and restaurants in the city center area of CDMX, we went to the San Juan market, stopped at a local cantina, experienced different traditional and fresh dishes, and finished in a local bakery, the tour was fantastic, highly recommended!

The tour was amazing and we were able to see many neighborhoods of Mexico City that we wouldn’t have seen without the tour. That is even without mentioning the food. We had incredible tacos and an incredible experience which is a tribute to our guide for the tour Jonathan, who was fantastic. I highly recommend the tour.

Awesome tour, entertaining, informative, delicious options. Our guide, Jimena, was beyond great. We were amazed at the number of places we visited and the variety of cuisine. There was a vegetarian in our group and she seamlessly provided options for him. Highly recommend.

Great way to see Roma Norte

A must do tour!!!
This experience was a BLAST!! But I also think it was because of the people who joined. I loved that it was a small group of 6, which made the experience more intimate and enjoyable. I was actually able to get to know the group and we had some major laughs. Natalia, the tour guide was sweet and knowledgeable. The cost value proposition of the experience was worth it. It happened to rain heavily on our tour, so the bus we were provided came in handy to a fault. The tacos were fantastic and the variety we received was excellent. I would most definitely recommend this tour AND even go on it again!

Very fun experience! Joss was so kind, funny, and knowledgeable! This was a great way for me to get some experience with Mexico City, as i was traveling solo and had no other concrete plans for my first day. I learned a lot about the history and tried some scrumptious food! It was a real treat to also experience celebratory flan for my birthday and another guests engagement. Thank you Joss!!

Interesting and delicious tour
We had a great time on the tour with Joss. She did a fantastic job explaining history of Mexico City and the foods we were tasting. She was also very patient and accommodating as we had one elderly member of our group who had a difficult time with the walking. Joss always made sure to check in with us and to stop at places where we could sit and rest. We loved the tour and hope to be able to take another tour from Sabores next time!

A must in CDMX! Best guide ever
An absolute must in CDMX. Our guide Josette was so energetic and passionate about giving us a taste of her beautiful culture. We tried a lot of tasty foods from restaurants and street vendors. We also explored a market with all kinds of exotic things including a pet tarantula named Pepito. Honestly had so much fun, I’d recommend this to anyone visiting this amazing city.
